My brother-in-law and I had an incredible time fishing with Captain Jeff! Neither of us had much fishing experience, but Captain Jeff was extremely kind, patient, and accommodating. He made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and ensured we had a memorable experience. We started with live shrimp as bait, and the action was almost nonstop! It felt like we were getting bites nearly every time we cast our lines. We each caught approximately 10 fish, which made for an exciting trip. We also tried cut bait, which attracted some bigger fish and gave us some really fun fights! What made the experience even better was Captain Jeff himself. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters and has plenty of interesting stories and experiences to share. We had great conversations throughout the entire trip, and there was genuinely never a dull moment. During our two-hour trip, we fished at approximately four different spots, which was a great amount of variety for the time we had. My only regret is not booking a longer trip! I would have loved to spend more time on the water, explore additional areas, and catch even more fish. Overall, this was easily one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a complete beginner, I highly recommend booking with Captain Jeff. We’ll definitely be looking to book a longer trip next time!

Captain Jeff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and true master of his craft. We started our 4 hour charter with catching some bait fish, to him putting us on area where we caught multiple different species of fish. The trout we got we were able to keep and have for dinner that night. Captain Jeff has a great sense of humor and it was just overall a blast to be on the water. 20 out of 10 stars, we highly recommend booking with Captain Jeff and we will be using his charter every time we come back to the area.

We started out catching bait fish and then we moved to a spot to catch Redfish. It was amazing, we were on the fish for sure as we caught several Reds. It was exciting as we had them hitting almost one right after another. Then the bigest catch of the day hit the line, it was a 31 inch Snook. Every spot he took us to produced fish. All together we caught ladyfish, redfish , catfish, trout, and we even caught a small shark. If you love catching fish definitely book a charter with Captain Jeff.

Captain Jeff was great! We cane in for a QB camp and scheduled this for our last day. Never went salt water fishing before and Captain Jeff was great! Communication was great, took us to different spots so we had a great fishing experience, shared some grrat stories, was awesome with our 6 and 10 year old boys and he came preppared with everything we needed to have a great day on the water. Boys are already excited to come back and do it all again with Captain Jeff! Highly reccomend him based on his knowledge of thr area, the fish, his experience, his patience with kiddos and overall love of sport.

My two boys and I had an awesome five-hour inshore trip with Capt. Jeff Gibson of Leisure Life Charters. He kept us on fish the entire time, and we caught speckled trout, redfish, and snook. Capt. Jeff was fantastic with my boys, patient, knowledgeable, and made the trip fun from start to finish. The boat was clean and well-equipped, and you can tell he knows these waters. We’d definitely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

Went on the 3 hr trip with Capt Jeff and it was perfect. He was cordial and welcoming from the second we met. Super patient and helpful all morning. Kept our hooks baited and took care of everything (except the actual reeling at times). We caught a wide variety of fish and they put of a good fight. At one point my daughter said “tbh I’m kinda tired of catching fish”. It was the ultimate flex and compliment. Last point… we were bay fishing so motion sickness was a non-issue.

We booked a 3-hour (730-1030am) in shore fishing excursion for Monday, April 27, 2026. Captain Jeff shared information about the differences between freshwater/salt water fishing, described the topography and the many different species of fish that could potentially be caught. We started off using shrimp as bait and caught: spotted sea trout lady fish pin fish grunts sand perch We kept the lady fish and used it as cut bait and then caught red fish. Moving around to different spots and switching up the bait made a positive difference! It was a great day of fun conversation and fishing. Captain Jeff has been guiding for over 19+ and is very passionate about it and willing to share his knowledge. He is patient with a great sense of humor. We would definitely guide with Captain Jeff again!

We had an excellent experience on this inshore fishing charter. Captain Jeff was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the local waters and tides. The boat was clean, comfortable, and perfectly set up for inshore fishing, with quality gear and everything we needed for a great day on the water. The captain did a great job putting us on fish and was patient in offering tips and guidance, making the trip enjoyable for anglers of all experience levels. We stayed busy throughout the trip and had a lot of action, which made the experience both exciting and relaxing. We went on a fishing tour with my husband and had an amazing experience. Captain Jeff did an excellent job — everything was very pleasant, well organized, and clearly explained. I had never fished in my life before, but thanks to the way Captain Jeff explained everything and helped me step by step, I understood it all and felt very comfortable. I ended up catching quite a lot of fish! My husband enjoyed the tour just as much. We were absolutely thrilled with this experience and highly recommend it to anyone who is planning or thinking about going fishing. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends as well.

This was by far the best fishing experience. Starting from before the trip, Jeff was in communication with me and was quick with his responses. Jeff was at the location early, made sure the boat was ready and all gear was rigged and ready to go. Even with knowing that January was a slow season, Jeff made it his mission to make sure we caught fish. Jeff started off at the first spot in the morning and he was telling us the locations and techniques needed to catch the different species. The first location we caught 7 different species. When that spot slowed down, he relocated us to a few different spots catching some catfish. For the last part of the trip he recommended switching up the fishing style to and location to try for the bigger fish. The first location we caught two giant Red's and the second location we hooked into another large red and a spotted trout. Jeff was extremely professional, great conversationalist and made sure that the experience was worth more than I paid. I highly recommend taking a trip with Jeff. I will no doubt, be taking more charters with Jeff this year.
