Climb aboard his 38' Henriques Sport Fisherman powered by twin 375 HP Caterpillar engines capable of developing a cruising speed of 21 knots. The vessel was fully restored in 2018 and can accommodate up to 6 anglers of all experience levels.
When it comes to the equipment, this boat has it all - GPS, radar, sonar, fishfinder, liferaft, EPIRB, live bait tank, and ice-boxes. It also has a comfy salon, air-conditioning, AM/FM stereo, full bathroom and a kitchen with a microwave.
Inshore or offshore, the captain will show you the most productive saltwater spots teeming with various species. You'll have the opportunity to catch the delicious Tautog and Seabass, or if you prefer big game - go after Tuna or Sharks. If you're looking for a real adventure, Megan Beth Sportfishing can take you deep sea fishing up to 50 miles from the coast.
Live bait is included in the price, and you'll be catching it during the trip. Quantum rods and reels, lures, and catch cleaning and filleting are also provided free of charge. There is no age limit - this charter offers an unforgettable experience for kids, beginners, and pro anglers. All aboard!

The boat is very well appointed and stocked with top of the line fishing gear. We’ll definitely fish with Captain Dan again!

I wanted to do something special with my son who woud be leaving soon for National Guard. With lots of charter choices selected Megan Beth in Point Pleasant. Both were a relly good choice. Captain Dan & Chris were both very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful teaching us about how to find fish, the type of fish, handling the reel, removing the hook, filleting and icing the fish. Anyone looking to fish off the Jersey Shore, Point Pleasant and Megan Beth Sport Fishing is a great choice.
Captain Dan and his deckhand Bill were fantastic! They are very knowledgeable about the area and knew how to fish for what was biting. They gave my brothers and I very personalized and friendly fishing experience and we had a blast! We all agreed, we would definitely recommend the Megan Beth to anyone looking to have a great time fishing! We will definitely be back for another trip in the future. Thanks Captain Dan!
