Come and explore the Gulf of Mexico with Destin's premier fishing charter – Maximum Fishing Fun! Maximus is the only boat in the harbor to offer a NO FISH, NO PAY GUARANTEE. Why? Because with nearly 300 charters a year the crew has never not produced fish. It's their personal guarantee to make sure you catch fish and have fun doing it.
Maximus can go faster than virtually all other boats in the Destin fleet. You can get to the deep water in half the time or less than most other boats, to make sure you catch all the fish you can dream of. Maximus goes farther than any boat on 4 and 5-hour trips. You and your family having a day of great catching is far more important than fuel cost.
Maximum Fishing Fun aims to provide unforgettable deep sea fishing experiences by a group of seasoned captains. For Captains Justin and Chris fishing is more than a job – it is their passion. Dubbed the 'offshore battlewagon', the Worldcat 330E charter boat is powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines. With enough room on board, and a restroom, it gives you plenty of freedom and comfort.
Typically, your trip starts off with catching live bait as soon as you go out the pass which generally takes about 1 hour. You have the option to purchase livebait instead of catching it, if you like. Depending on how long the trip is, the livebait usually costs $60-$80. Which seems like a lot, but if you're catching it you're spending $250 per hour to catch it. So we highly recommend buying it over catching it.
See all the reviews, they explain it best! There is a reason why Maximus has more than quadruple the reviews than all other boats. Book now for an ultimate Destin fishing experience!

This is probably my fifth trip with Justin and MAXIMUS over 10 years. I did swordfish trips, reef trips and deep drop 12h trips. Went out, caught fish, had it cooked at Brotula's. Will come back next year.
Fishing like it’s supposed to be. Justin put us on the fish, showed us what to do, and let us fish. This was a fishing trip, not a pleasure cruise. We caught some fish, missed some fish, lost some to sharks, and had a great time. Justin was great, and helped when help was needed, but not going to do it for you. Just right.

My son and I have fished offshore quite a bit, Captain Chris had us on fish immediately when we arrived at his spots. It was non stop action. The reviews are LEGIT, if you want a lazy day in the water do not book, if you want to do some serious fishing, have fun, and actually catch fish, it is a no brainer fish with Chris or Justin!
Chris made sure we had a great trip and made several stops untill we found just where the fish were at. He was curtious and informative about the the fish we were catching. The dolphins put on a great show for us as we were going to our first spot to fish. It was a wonderful day on the water.
had a great time with captain chris, he said today he wanted to just go after some big fish and get that late season gag grouper, did both of those and caught a limit of red snapper mixed in! would definitely recommend to anyone else looking to get on some fun fishing!!

We had an extremely good trip and caught our limits on the fish. The 6hr trip was perfect and would definitely recommend this trip to others. Chris was awesome to go with and when the fish weren’t biting in one area he would not waste time moving to another to put us on the fish.
We caught quite a few fish; even a shark. Captain was great. He even attempted to catch a Mahi after our trip was over just because I really would have liked one of those. Unsuccessful but awesome he went over our time in an attempt to catch one. Highly recommend

We had Captain Chris and he made sure we got on fish and caught all we could handle. We appreciated his patience with our young kids especially after our 11yo fell to ocean sickness and his ability to handle everything professionally.
The boat ride and choice of music from the captain was the best part. My daughter out fished us but its well worth going. The captain was cool and informative. Highly recommend the Maximus!! Thank you for a great time!!

We have fished with Justin and Chris. Both are outstanding captains who work hard, communicate effectively and ensure your trip will be the best it can be on a given day. Can’t wait to fish with them next year!
