Hook Up Fishing Charters boasts a brand new 2023 7.2 m centre console, which can comfortably fit 5 anglers without crossing rods. With 2 150 HP Suzuki engines and a cruising speed of 30 knots, you'll be on the fish before you know it. Along with fishfinder and Capt. Shawry's 25 years of experience fishing in this area, you'll have your lines in the water and reeling in your dream catch in no time.
You can expect a huge variety of fish on these trips. Everything from Spanish Mackerel, Giant Trevally, and Snapper, to Coral Trout, Nannygai, Red Emperor, and plenty more.
Kids are welcome on board, great for families. Beginners and experienced anglers will love these trips and the fishing opportunities they offer.

He gave us a briefing on safety and the area where we were going to fish. We caught multiple different species of fish including a shark. The water was a little bit choppy, but i expected that in an open ocean. The captain is so knowledgeable about the sea and with the fishing techniques. He is also kind enough to hook up baits for us. Once again thank you so much for giving us such an incredible time out on the water and for being patience.

We caught fish inc GT, dusky cod, flathead, lots of Bream and even a damn eel. Saw a couple of crocs. Shawry was a great skipper and guide. Great with the kids and super helpful. Highly recomend Hook Up for your next fishing adventure in PD.

Took myself and my two teenage kids (13&15) to multiple locations off the coast. At each spot we were pretty much on the fish straight away, if we weren't, we moved on to the next spot. 20+ fish caught, many different species. Shawry was great, very knowledgeable. Provided all the gear and did everything for us, great with the kids. Even spotted some dolphins on the way out. Highly recommended. Thanks Shawry and Julie. We will be back!

We caught giant trevally, tuna and various other beautiful fish! Captain was very knowledgeable & helpful & really put us on the fish! Really made our whole trip well worth the money!!!

Great trip , caught fish and the Captain was great & the stories on board. Go onboard again for sure & to share this with my son was wonderful & he (Joel) was truly grateful for the wonderful experience.
Great day out with my 2 sons, first time on the outer reef. Shawry was excellent, put us in the right spots at the right times and helped us with his knowledge and expertise all day. Caught a good variety and good size Coral Trout and Emperor’s for tea. Thanks Shawry, can’t wait for the next trip.
