"Light Tackle Fishing" is what we do. We pride ourselves in using only quality rods and reels.
Fishing is a huge passion of Capt.Tony. He has been fishing the waters in and around Ocean City for better than 50 years now.
Even on his days off, you will find him fishing here with family and friends.
Capt. Tony is a great teacher and will do what ever it takes to make sure you have the best experience possible. From beginners to the more experienced, you will learn techniques that will help improve your success on the water.
Capt. Tony has built his businesses telling his customers the truth about the weather and fishing conditions at the time of their trip. "If your chances for a successful trip don't look good, he is going to tell you.
He is not in the "boat ride" business.
Somethings can't be controlled, but you wasting your hard earned money can. Conditions change daily and he truly cares about you having the best experience possible
His honesty is the closest thing to a "guarantee" you will find in the charter fishing industry.
If conditions are not ideal on the day of your trip, Capt. Tony will do everything he can to reschedule you to a better time or date.
It is always advisable for you to book your fishing trip earlier in your vacation. This allows for some adjustment if the trip needs to be rescheduled during your stay.

AM 3 Hour Back Bay Morning Trip on August 15, 2026 • 4 adults🎣 Great Day on the Water with Saltwater Adventures! Had an awesome trip with Saltwater Adventures today. There were four of us on the boat, and every one of us caught at least fou fish with a nice variety of species throughout the trip. Flounder were definitely the go-to, and our captain did a fantastic job of moving us around and consistently putting us in locations where the fish were biting. That makes all the difference on a charter. Instead of spending the day hoping to find fish, we stayed on them and kept catching. Great fishing, great company, and a captain who clearly knows the local waters. We booked a late afternoon bay trip and the water conditions were less than optimal, however, Tony knew just where to go to get us on some fish. His experience is second to none. We landed 5 flounder with 2 being keepers and my family loved it! Captain Tony’s honesty also shines through, the water quality was getting bad and rather then having us come up blank he credited me with an hour towards our next trip! I will definitely be booking again with saltwater adventures!

2 HR "Back Bay" Intro To Fishing on July 14, 2026 • 4 adultsThis fishing trip was better than I ever expected! The mate and the captain were so accomodating. They made we sure that we experienced more than catching fish. They followed a dolphin, showed us where the horses roam on Assateaque Island, and let us swim on the sand bar! We caught flounder immediately. It was the best part of any Ocean City vacation I’ve had so far. Perfect day! I will absolutely be adding this to every Ocean City trip in the future!

We have 8 and 10 year old kids with limited fishing experience, and they took great care of them and made sure they had fun both times. I have had just as much fun with a lot of fishing experience and caught my personal best flounder. I especially like that they specialize in light tackle. We highly recommend Saltwater Adventures!

We were able to get out to the ocean and catch 12 Sea bass prior to me getting sick. Tony and Mason were helpful with attending to the rod, getting me water, and getting me back on land. Highly recommend this crew for any charter! We will be back, I’ll just stick to the bayside 😊

Worked with us on a trip due to impending bad weather on the day we had planned. Changed to a 3 hour bay trip which he extended so it ended being closer to 5 and caught some flounder. He was working his network of captains to get us on fish the whole time. He got us on fish when nobody else was. We will be scheduling with him again.

AM 3 Hour Back Bay Morning Trip on September 18, 2026 • 2 adultsThe conditions were not all optimal, very windy and working against the tide but Capt. was diligent in trying new things until we got on the fish. We caught a variety of species and came home with 2 nice keeper flounder. Boat was extremely comfortable and Capt. was super accommodating. Appreciated all the hard work to get us some tight lines. We will be fishing with Capt. Tony again.

AM 3 Hour Back Bay Morning Trip on July 5, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 childCaptain Tony and his first mate showed us a great time. They had us on fish quickly and knew exactly what we should be doing. Caught several flounder (including some keepers) and a sea bass in our trip. My brother brought his 12 year old son and he had a great experience thanks to Tony and his 1st mate. Tony cleaned the fish and we were able to take it into fish tales to have it fried up for lunch.

Captain Tony put us on the fish, provided great conversation and great music. The weather was perfect and the fish were on. I didn't know Trigger fish were so delicious. Fried, grilled, baked, blackend...had enough to do it all. Will go again. 6:30 am trip.

After a short informative tour of the bay, he put us on the fish. We had a few bites and landed a keeper. Couldn’t be happier. Very professional and courteous. Even helped us get our catch cooked at the local restaurant. Can’t recommend him enough. We will be back.

Weather took a turn (which we were prepared for) but Captain still reached out to us prior to arrival to make sure we were aware and ok with it (since we had two kids)and was upfront about conditions , which I’m always thankful for upfront honesty. We still made out great! Tried multiple fishing spots, even though there were no keepers, he knew exactly where to go so the kids could catch things and see things. We caught flounders, bass, stingrays and saw sharks too. Took a cruise to look for ponies , where we saw one of the herds and overall had a great few hours just being out on the water. Will be booking another trip☺️

Captain Tony and Mason both were extremely knowledgeable and patient. We caught 16 flounder and 1 blue fish. 3 of the flounders were keepers! There was no question that Tony’s professional experience fishing and years of knowing the right fishing spots made our experience the best. We loved the Sunset Fishing Cruise. Tony made sure that we had amazing photos, clean fish, and felt like we were never without a baited line in the water. So glad we booked and will for many years to come.
Today was a great day. The water didn't want to cooperate at first, but that didn't stop Capt. Tony and Mate Mason. They put us on the fish and it was a blast. We ended the day with 10 flounder caught with two keepers (18" and 19"), hooked into a big cow nose ray, and spot 3 cobia. We have been coming to Capt. Tony and Saltwater Adventures for the last four years and he never disappoints. He gets everyone involved from novices to the seasoned angler
