If you are looking for a fantastic family fun-filled adventure, then you need to book with Nautilus Excursions today. Captain Ron Koyasako has been running charters for nearly 2 decades and will do his utmost to ensure you have an awesome day out on the water with him.
You'll spend the day on a 30' Island Hopper. This is ideal for large groups and families, as 8 can fish on her without bumping elbows. With a 480 HP Cummins engine, you'll be at the fishing grounds before you know it – on the half day trips, the ride can be as short at 10 minutes.
On board are full safety and navigational equipment, including fishfinder. Coupled with Capt. Ron's extensive knowledge, and you'll be on top of the fish all day.
The fish you'll be targeting on the half day trip include Striped Bass, Halibut, and Leopard Shark. This trip is ideal for families with children as the runtime to the fishing grounds can be as little as 10 minutes. There is no minimum age for children and life vests are provided. For children, parents will need to bring small life vests for them instead.
The full-day trip is great for catching King Salmon out of the bay. There is a longer runtime to the fishing ground, but the ride out is worth the catch! As well as King Salmon (also known as Chinook) you can expect to catch Leopard Shark, Rockfish, Striped Bass, Halibut, and Lingcod. First 2 trolling sinkers a free of charge. $7 for every sinker used after.
During the trip, you'll be using top quality Daiwa rods and reels. The live bait you'll use will be prepared before the trip, giving you maximum time fishing.
You are welcome to bring along food and drink (in a small cooler) on these trips. Please purchase a fishing license before the day.

Half Day Trip (PM) on August 6, 2025 • 6 adults • 2 childrenCaptain Ron and Hunter know fish. They also know how to run a boat. Professional, organized, and fun. Ron asked us to come out a little early specifically to get on a striped bass bite and he timed it beautifully. After loading up we hit a few more spots and found halibut, sharks, and a ray. Ron has been fishing all over and it shows. A true craftsman and a proper conservationist. I’ll book with Ron again and I very highly recommend you do too.

Went with a group of 6, and some had zero fishing experience. That didn't stop us from having a good time and catching fish! Captain Ron and Jeff were very helpful with our less experienced team members. Had a blast with the crew on the all day trip! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun group activity.

Full Day trip on July 19, 2024 • 5 adultsCpt. Ron and Hunter provided a superior fishing experience. I booked the Nautilus for a full day of fishing, celebrating two friend and family birthdays. Ron and Hunter worked hard all day to get us on fish. All fishing tackle, live bait, and nice rod/reels were included.. We limited on striped bass by early morning, and then focused on halibut. The large tide differential was not ideal for the flattie bite, but, Ron and Hunter coached us well to prevent dropped fish. We landed up with limits of striped bass, and a halibut per angler plus one. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you to Cpt Ron and Hunter for a wonderful experience.

Cap said conditions were less than ideal, but he was constantly calling the around the fleet and moving to new spots to ensure we were catching! Great expertise, the crew helped this group of newbies catch limit! Apparently we were the only boat that caught striper limit that morning!

I would highly recommend Nautilus Excursions. The captains were great at explaining everything, knew just where to go, and gave us a phenomenal day full of memories (and a freezer full of filets!!!)
