Fintastic Striper Fishing Charter
Fishing the rich Tennessee waters has never been as action-packed and fun than with Fintastic Striper Fishing Charter. Operating out of Jefferson City, Captain Wilber Brady has been fishing these waters for the past quarter of a century. He loves showing the abundance of the area's lovely outdoors to the visitors – his trips are always full of excitement and unforgettable! When he's not on board, your trips will be run by Capt. Bobby Crabtree.
You'll be fishing aboard a 21' Mako center console, out of the box in 2014. Powered by a 200 HP Mercury engine, it can accommodate up to 4 anglers in full comfort and comes equipped with an array of professional marine electronics and safety gear. It has the latest Lowrance GPS, sonar, fishfinder, and structure scan electronics. Downriggers, a live bait tank, wireless trolling motor, and even a multimedia system can be found on board.
Fintastic Striper Fishing Charter reels in over 1000 fish yearly in the waters of Norris, Melton Hill, Boone, Watts Bar, Fort Loudon, Cherokee, and Douglas reservoirs and French Broad, Clinch, Tennessee, and Holston rivers.
Capt. Wilber and Capt. Bobby are the most passionate about fishing for Striped Bass. They're all about the Striper action, both from the surface and bottom. So get ready for some sight casting, trolling, live baiting, and downrigging to depths over 90'.
The captains also have a lot of knowledge and success with Catfish, Crappie, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, White Bass, and Trout. They're big on CPR policy – catch, photograph and release!
The charter will cover all the needed gear, from top of the shelf tackle by Penn to live bait (prepared before the trip), and lures. Catch cleaning is also included. The first mate, Capt. Wilber's son, will be present on some trips to help make your trip even more comfortable. The only thing you have to do is get a valid fishing license and you're good to go on an adventure you'll remember for years to come!

we learned a lot caught first striper put like 8 fish in the boat mised atleast 12 bites thats like 20 fish in one day if we were better (hookers). the smallest was 4 pounds biggest maybe 8 pounds we lost a really big one i am claimeig it at 30 pounds. we were fishing in less thn 15 minutes after launching. captain wasted no time. he was nice polite and verry knowledgeable. one time that we changed spots he stoped the boat he jumped up and fast as lightning grabed a bait and pole went to bact of boat droped it in warer and before it hit botton bam caught biggest of the day. biggest fist my wife ever caught.. it was a great day. we checked out new boats the day before, just looking. and i tell you this trip was less than one payment on a new boat. and all we had to do was show up and catch fish. thats a great value. we have taken many ocean trips that cost more and catght less and smaller fish. we will be back and recommend this trip to anyone. in fact i intend to invite our pastor out for another trip. i think that with god and captin * fish wisper* there's no tellin what we'll catch. you'll have to go to find out why we call him that. so stop thinking an dreaming of a great fishing trip and book one for yourself. you will thank me later. catch and release is best so they will be bigger next time you go. bruce & debbie
Hybrid limit fo 4 of us. Bite was tough but Captain Bobby worked hard to find fish and when we did it was on. Big storm blew thru and Captain Bobby kept us dry! Great Time
Caught a lot of fish ad learned a lot.
Booked on short notice within one week of our trip but it was well worth it. We booked our half day trip with Fintastic Striper Fishing and so glad we did. Capt. Bobby did a great job of changing our original meeting spot based on the fishing report and where the fish were moving. We were in the water at 7:30am and on fish within the hour. We were celebrating our oldest daughter turning 16 as well as my wife's birthday and ended up with 18 fish in all, some of which were of good size. Our goal was to get my daughter on fish and thankfully Capt. Bobby got us on some. A big thanks to Capt. Bobby Crabtree for his kindness towards us, his knowledge, preparedness, patience and overall great experience. We'd definitely recommend Capt. Bobby and if we're back in the area and plan on doing more fishing we'll definitely look to book with Fintastic Striper Fishing.

The captain knows what he is doing. We caught our catch for the day within the first hour. It was excellent fishing! The captain was very helpful. He made sure everyone was learning how to fish and having a great time. He was patient with the kids. I would highly recommend.
Captain Bobby was fantastic! He’s super knowledgeable and knows how to find the big catch! Thank you for an awesome time!
I am NOT a fisherman. It was a tough day finding the fish BUT each of my 2 kids caught 3 and I caught 2! We almost caught our limit and my second fish was over 20 lbs!!!
Had a great time chasing hybrids with Captain Bobby. Bite wasn’t on fire but we landed 9 good size hybrids as we followed them around the lake. Bobby was extremely knowledgeable and kept us on the fish as much as possible. He even offered to stay out a little long to make sure we caught as many fish as possible. Highly recommend!
It was a beautiful day on the water and my wife and I caught some awesome fish. This was our first time catching striper. We will definitely do it again.
Great time in bad weather but the captain never gave up .

We went to Cherokee Reservoir the 6th of October. The captain warned us before the trip that that date was not a great time to fish. But that was the only week we could travel to TN, so we thought we'd try our luck. The captain tried his best and used the fish finder to find a good spot, and we actually caught fish. We had 6 people in our group and we caught exactly 6 fish. 1 was over 15 lbs. The captain filleted the fish for us to take and we cooked and ate them. Only beware to note - there was no bathroom facilities at the boat ramp that we launched from. That would have been nice to know since we had 2 girls in our group.
The bite was super slow since the water was so warm and it was so late in the season. I have no doubt that woth any other captain we would have given up. Captain Bobby paid close attention to other reports in the area and did his best to get us to the fish. We got on a group and apmost all the roda got pulled down at once. In the middle of all the chaos the captain was calm and made sure all the fish got in the boat!
Captain is very knowledgeable, easy going, and will put you on great fishing. Great equipment, and boat. Would highly recommend and plan to come back.
