Alex City Guide Service – 26'
Dreaming of landing a trophy-sized predator? Maybe you want to try fishing for the first time? Whatever the case, Alex City Guide Service has a trip for you! Your captain invites you to join him for a fishing adventure on Lake Martin in Alabama.
You'll fish from a 26' Crevalle SHO. It's a bay boat, with low sides and a center console layout – plenty of space for 6 anglers to move around while chasing the bite. You'll be right on top of the honey holes, thanks to the onboard 350 HP Suzuki engine. It allows the boat to reach a max cruising speed of 55 knots. There's a wireless trolling motor as well, so you can sneak up on the fish and keep your cast steady.
The captain will take you after Trophy Striped Bass on Lake Martin. The captain will customize the trip to match your preference and skill level. Seasoned angler or a total novice, you're in good hands. If you're a fan of fly fishing you should bring your own fly rod. All other tackle is provided by the charter.
There's plenty of room in the cooler, so bring whatever you'd like to eat or drink with you. The captain will supply you with bottled water. Kids of all ages are more than welcome on board – the captain recommends you to bring comfortable vests for them.
The bag limit for Stripers is two per angler over 22 inches. You need a valid Alabama fishing license before starting your trip.
Book a trip with Alex City Guide Service today and explore the waters of Lake Martin – will this be the trip where you land your new personal best?

3/4 Day Trip on June 12, 2021 • 4 adultsTheir fleet of boats and equipment were top notch. They have the best personalities of any charter weve booked in the past. If youre looking for a day to fish with friends and family on Lake Martin and to share stories and laughs id highly recommend Alexander City Guide service. They worked multiple areas from north to south, marked the best schools of fish, and kept fresh bait in the water. We caught some big stripers and they kept marking fish all day. They really have Lake Martin stripers figured out. My group go on fishing trips all over the US and this was by far the best charter weve booked.

3/4 Day Trip on July 23, 2020 • 5 adultsFinally had a chance to upload pictures. What a fun trip with Captain David Hare and Captain Alex. Chartered two boats for the family, one 24' and one 22' for a total of 9 people. Two grandsons and a tiny grand nephew had the time of their lives catching huge stripers. Pictures tell the rest of the story! Biggest three on our boat in 17-20 lb. range. What a morning!!! Thanks Captain David and Captain Alex for sure.

3/4 Day Trip on March 12, 2024 • 4 adultsFished with David at Alex City Guide Service today on Lake Martin. Four of us all caught stripers today and additionally one largemouth got in the frey. David and Don were both personable as well as being knowledgeable about what we were doing. I would recommend anyone wanting to experience striper fishing to give David a call.
