You'll be traveling on your captain's 26' Penn Yan flybridge vessel, built to transport up to 6 guests out to the hot spots – plenty of room for the whole family, or bring along your best angling buddies for the fishing competition of a lifetime! She's decked out with a private toilet, GPS and fishfinder, life jackets in a variety of sizes, and a flybridge. There's plenty of room on board for your favorite snacks and drinks, too, so bring them along.
Capt. David targets some of the best freshwater fisheries around, so you'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to the species on offer. Want plenty of hands-on action? Get ready to chase Musky and test your skills against this freshwater favorite. Want to reel in something tasty to take home for supper? Lake St Clair Musky weekday on August 21, 2026 • 2 adultsWe had an amazing experience, the captain was incredibly knowledgeable and his water craft was second to none. The boat is well equipped and within 30 minutes we had our first take on the trolled lures. The Musky fight hard and even though the fishing gear is perfectly balanced you will be given a run for your money! The captain worked hard re-adjusting the rigs due to weeds but somehow he managed to get us in the middle of the baitfish everytime. The final result was four fish at 48, 46.5, 42 & 41 inches. I can’t recommend this trip enough and it will take some beating. Thank you.

After extensive research, they chose Mainstream Fishing Charters and we were so happy they did. Our experience was excellent. The captain provided excellent communication about our trip in the week before and was on time and ready to go when we got there. He was keen to share his years of experience and expertise with us and the boys. In the end, both boys caught a big Muskie - exactly what we were hoping for. Lake Erie Walleye weekend AM on May 26, 2024 • 2 adultsMy dad and I were itching to go fishing and decided to go with Captain David! His focus, speed, and determination is impressive. His knowledge is extensive, he had every answer to my curiosities. We went home with 11 Walleyes, he tried real hard to get the goal of 12, but my father needed to tap out. Otherwise, he would have stayed working for the last Walleye until the very last minute. We are going with Captain David again in June, you should book with Mainstream Fishing Charters!

Lake Erie Walleye Weekend PM on July 22, 2023 • 2 adultsMy dad and I had an amazing trip! We couldn’t keep the rods in the water. Limit out on Walleye and caught a nice Rainbow trout. The boat had a beautiful view up top for some extra seating. Mike was so kind and full of some great information for us newbies. Even filleted them up for us for a small fee. Couldn’t recommend this charter enough.

Lake St. Clair Musky – Weekend on October 10, 2020 • 3 adultsHad a great morning out with the guys! 6 hits, landed 2, great experience for our first Muskie trip!!! Definitely won't be our last trip. The Captain was super knowledgeable of the area and what techniques were working this time of year. Guys were super friendly. All around great experience will definitely recommend and return.

Captain Dave was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we stepped foot on the boat till the time we got back he was working his ass off. We caught our limit with 5hrs of dropping the first line. He couldn't even set up all the lines before the fish started hitting and twice we had multiple fish on. He's super knowledgeable and gave us pointers and tricks when fishing alone. Overall our experience was anmazing and would highly recommend using this charter. Thanks again Dave our catch was delicious!!!!
