With 40 years of fishing experience and many tournaments under his belt, he knows the top places to take you for some great sized fish.
His 23' boat is the perfect size for groups of 4. Brand new in 2019, this boat is comfortable and spacious. There are deluxe armchairs for anglers, so once the lines are set you can sit down and relax until the fish bites. This is great for the elderly and children alike.
The day will be spent trolling for Chinook and Coho Salmon in the bay and mouth of Rogue River between July to September. Chinook is usually between 15–40 pounds. Coho fish are usually 6–15 pounds and give a great fight. Limits apply for both fish – the captain will keep you informed of current regulations.
Capt. Jayson is great with kids and novices. He is patient and will happily explain the ropes of fishing to you. Trolling is perfect for everyone – there's nothing better than sitting back with a cold drink waiting for a monster to bite!
You'll need to bring along a few bits. You must have a fishing license. If your trip is in the morning, buy the license before the day. If you're fishing the afternoon trip, the license can be bought at the marina on the day.
You'll need to bring a small cooler of food and drinks, too. Wear light clothing in layers.
Included in the price are top of the line Lamiglas 8'8" rods and Tekota 500 reels with counters. Your captain will fillet your catch after the trip.

We caught about 26 Black Sea Bass & Ling Cod. Had a blast. I chose to release them back to the sea. Jayson Watson is an excellent fishing guide & I had an excellent trip.

went with my two adult boys. jayson is the best guide I've had in 35 years of salmon fishing. Verypatient and you can tell he does it out of a love of fishing. We will book with him in the future!!!!
Caught some beauties and lost a few. No drama when we lost one just dropped the lines to catch another. Fished with my daughter and granddaughter-couldn’t ask for a better guide.
We had a wonderful time on the water. It was very eventful with getting to see sealions, seals, and a great landscape. I would book again.
Was an awesome trip the boat had a good attitude in it. The captain was wonderful. I would definitely go again and I limited out and the first met was awesome.
