We had an amazing day out on the water with Capt. Johnson. We caught our limit on Black Fin Tuna. He was a great captain who is very knowledgeable of the area. He was super helpful at coaching up my kids and helping them each catch some fish. Would highly recommend.

Had an absolute blast on the trip with Captain Galon… It was my son and I and not only did we catch fish, but he was awesome to fish and hang out with… if you’re looking for a charter where the captain of the boat makes you feel comfortable and he really enjoys fishing and helping you catch different types of fish with different fishing techniques, then he is the one to use. Would highly recommend !!!
my husband and I are in our mid 60s and had the most amazing experience with Captain Galen. The location was easy to find. He was so kind and patient with us. We had been deep sea fishing before, but this time we tried ref fishing and caught a ton of fish, edible and some good sport fish. When we got back to the dock captain took pictures of us with our catch and then filets and bagged the on the ice and we were able to take to a local restaurant for lunch. p.s. don’t bring bananas on the boat. restaurant and enjoy for lunch
My best review would be the guide interaction with my youngest boy. Made him Feel included and assisted on how to get the Tuna up. It was a great over all fishing trip.

Many thanks to Captain Galon! Full day of Mahi, Tuna, Grouper, Snapper and a whole bunch of sights on the water. My daughter and I had a blast, thanks for making today a very special one. Will for sure link up with Galon and Go Time when we are back in town.

Couldn’t have chosen a windier week to go but Captain still muscled through…. I’ve been fishing since I was 6 years old and still learned a lot today , this was as he described “ more hands on “ kind of fishing … most charters will usually hook the fish for you via trolling or whatever and hand it to you to reel in. But you learn to do it yourself and it’s so much more rewarding
We had an awesome time!! Captain Galon was so kind, polite, helpful and communicated very well! He made us feel very welcome an answered all of our questions! We’ve been on trips before with captains that are jerks and treat you like you’re a dumb tourist. Galon was perfect! Would highly recommend Go Time we got a ton of fish. It was a meat haul!

We booked M- W Christmas week. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Gaylon did as best he could under pretty sporty conditions. We had to call it quits early Monday due to increasing high winds gusting over 30 but we landed 25 reef keepers between three of us (limit 10 ea,) Best to be safe than sorry. We cooked a great fish dinner at the house we rented for the week, so not all was lost and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Islamorada. Gaylon made sure we were refunded with no problems. We will be back as the surface we scratched was very promising.
The captain put us on a pile of yellowtail snapper, and made sure to work with our daughter, showing her how to use the gear etc. We all had a blast but our daughter’s big smile during and after the trip said it all! Great experience!

Go Time has so many 5 star reviews for a reason. Great captain and boat. Nothing better than hitting a spot, catching fish, and moving to the next spot. Our crew will definitely be back in the future (hopefully sooner rather than later)

Weather did not cooperate but that did not stop us from getting to the patch reefs and catching a box of Snapper, Yellow Tail, and others. Capt Johnson was super attentive, making sure we were on the fish and doing the right things to land 'em. Boat was a comfortable twin hull design so even in the rough water it was manageable. Good Penn tackle allowed us to muscle up the fish from the bottom quickly. We cut the trip short due to the rain and wind, but that was Mother Nature, not the Capt. Good solid ride, good gear, and he knew the area - where to get bait quickly, get to the reefs and find the snapper hiding in the depths. Leaves out of Robbie's Marina, and they can cook your catch when you are done or you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Will hit Go Time up again next trip! Thanks Capt!
