It's time to book a trip to Falmouth, Jamaica, and get on a fishing charter with Luminous Lagoon Tours. With 25 years of fishing experience under his belt, Captain David knows all the best places to take you for the most productive and exciting day out. You'll be fishing within 15 minutes from leaving the dock, as the water gets very deep very quickly.
Hop on board his 35' Cabo boat, perfect for groups of 6 anglers. This boat is decked out with full safety and navigational equipment, so you can fish with complete peace of mind. There is a restroom for your comfort and a huge deck to reel in your catch. There is an enclosed cabin if you need to get out of the sun and seating to relax.
Some of the species you can target include Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Grouper, Snapper, and plenty more. Whatever your skill level, there is a fish out here with your name on it.
Children of all ages are welcome on board and will have life vests provided for them. They'll have a great story to tell their friends back at school after a trip with Capt. David.
Included in the price of the trip are the rods, reels, lures, frozen bait, and fishing license. After the trip, the captain will clean your catch for you. The captain will also provide water and beer. Feel free to bring food along for the trip, which can go into the captain's cooler on board.
Don't forget to grab your sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, and you'll be ready for an amazing day out that the whole family will enjoy.

We landed 18 tuna and a barracuda, plus had an epic battle with a marlin that got away right at the boat — heartbreaking but such a rush. Captain David and crewmate Dean made the entire trip. After 30 years on the water, David still lights up like it’s his first catch every time a fish is on — that kind of genuine passion is rare and it’s contagious. Dean was right there with him, working hard and keeping the energy high all day. If you want a crew that knows the water and genuinely loves what they do, book with these guys.

Both he & his First Mate Dean did everything to get us on the fish in some challenging sea conditions. Myself, son & grandson (first time sea fishing) caught 10 nice tuna! Then when we got off the boat, the chef at the property cooked some of our catch to try. Great experience.

Fishing started slow, since its fishing, but Captain Dave and D found us several spots to catch red snapper with about every cast. On the way back in we hooked a large Wahoo!!! Perfect way to finish a fun day. I highly recommend if you are looking for a charter while visiting.

Six hour trip on December 11, 2024 • 3 adultsWe booked our fishing trip with Captain Dave and his deckhand Dean. We also booked transportation from the resort to the marina and back. From the time Michael picked us up, until he dropped us off back the resort, everyone treated us like family. The fishing was awesome, we caught a bunch of tuna and a king fish. Dean was patient and thorough in setting up the gear, coached us on the numerous “doubles” we experienced and was as excited as we were with the catch. Captain David was in constant communications as our trip approached and made sure there were no surprises. I can’t say enough about the great experience and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you Captain Dave, Dean and Michael for making this birthday a memorable one.

Half Day Trip – Deep Sea Trolling on May 24, 2024 • 2 adultsWas a tough day out on the open ocean but the crew was better than fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. This is even more impressive since we are first timers on a boat like that from North Dakota, about as far from the open ocean as you can get. They made great conversation and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The fishing out for the elusive Marlin on the open ocean caused us to come up empty but they went closer to the coast to give us another shot and we each caught a barracuda. My wife and I had a blast and would recommend them to anyone. They did their damndest to get us fish and it was very obvious they knew what they were doing. Justin & Jozie Chase
