Running angling trips out of Marathon, Ana Banana Fishing Company – 30' Grady White invites you to check out the local fishery in style.
Come on aboard with Capt. Joel, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, bow fishing, drift fishing, handline, jigging, kite fishing, popping, spearfishing, spinning, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Dolphin, Tuna, Sailfish, Cobia, King Mackerel, Wahoo, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your boat for the day will be a 30' Grady White that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with a toilet, ice box.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can.
As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don't have to worry about it.
You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.

While the fishing itself was a bit slow, the captain and first mate did everything they could and went out of their way to do their absolute best for my boys. In the end, everyone has a great time and before we'd left the parking lot, they were asking to sign up with them again while we're still in town for the week. Thanks so much for a truly outstanding morning!

Full Day Trip on March 25, 2026 • 4 adultsCapt Brian Estes worked his tail off to try and get us on the fish! We booked. Full day charter for my family of 4. Brian was super personable, knowledgeable about the area. We caught 2 grouper (we couldn’t keep, not in season) in the morning, then we trolled trying to get some mahi, wahoo or the like with no luck. Tried reef and wreck fishing again and caught a file fish. We went to the shallows and started fishing around docks and caught some small mangroves and some keeper Jack Caravelle! It was a hard day for fishing but being on a boat in the keys is bar none!

The captain was great and tried his best to have us catching fish, but some days the fish just don’t cooperate. But my family had a good time, and when we got back to the pier, the captain cleaned our fish that we did catch and hooked a tarpon for my grandson to bring in. Great crew! Great time!

Full Day Trip on April 8, 2026 • 4 adultsToday we had Captain Brian Estes, who is super excited and passionate about getting you on the fish. We were on in under one hour! We trolled a large variety of fish in a variety of places. Brian is great cuz if the catch is done we are moving! it was great. We caught triple fin, skipjack, dolphin, trigger fish and more. Can’t recommend this charter enough!

The fishing was wonderful. We were able to catch 39 keepers between the 6 of us. Went home and made some killer fish tacos. Joel the Captain was very friendly and nice. The firstmate Sean hustled around making sure everyone was bated up and ready to fish. Both were very personable and great to talk to. My kids who were 10 and 12, both had a blast and I’m sure will remember it for years to come. Thank you again for the great fishing trip and added bonus of a beautiful sunset!
