Captain Shawn was hospitable, knowledgable, and experienced, and in just a 2 hour charter, he taught my son much about fishing. Furthermore, I was impressed with Captain Shawn’s ability to balance patience and a stern demeanor… He was calm and encouraging, gave clear instruction, and maintained a safe environment and enjoyable experience. We are grateful for the memories and delicious fish, and we will definitely booking again!

2 Hour Inshore on July 20, 2026 • 2 adultsWe had a great 2 hour trip! When we left the marina we had a nice 10 minute boat ride and were on the fish pulling them in as soon as we got into the bay. We filled up the ice box with more fish than we could take and were back to the beach to enjoy the afternoon. My 10 year old even caught a few sharks which he has been talking about since the trip a few weeks ago. Would definitely recommend and will fish with the Captain Shawn again when we get back to the area.

Fishing was a struggle but he managed to get us on about a 30lb drum, 25 in redfish and several bull sharks and gafftop catfish. If we ever make it down this way again we will definitely be hitting him up, and you should too!

This morning I had the opportunity to fish with Shawn and not only discovered how knowledgeable he is on the history of the area, but also how professional he is in educating novice gulf fishermen like myself on techniques and equipment. I would recommend him to anyone and look forward to booking another excursion with him again. He will definitely work hard to put you on fish. Thank you for a great morning.
Have done other fishing charters on the Gulf Coast many times on vacation, Shawn is definitely in a class of his own. Knows all the good spots knows all the good techniques. Will gladly teach you those techniques. We ended up catching seven fish, kept five. I got to catch a massive drum and was definitely a very good experience, definitely would recommend for others!
