At Basslines Sportfishing, their philosophy is to provide a comfortable great boat, with top-notch customer service, and an experience of a lifetime each and every trip. Captain Bill has been fishing this area since he was a kid, so he knows the location of all productive fishing spots. With that map memorized, you could almost say he doesn't need GPS.
Capt. Bill welcomes you aboard his 32' Century boat. This center console has enough room for 6 guests, with all of them being included in the chase. To help with reaching your spot in no time, the boat is powered by twin 250 HP Yamaha engines. The ride will be more pleasant with a great sound system installed and for better comfort, there's also a private toilet.
Bass Lines Sport Fishing Charters specializes in fishing excursions targeting Striped Bass in the bay and ocean, as well as offshore trips targeting primarily Tuna fish, Mahi Mahi, Tilefish, and Shark. There's a variety of fishing techniques you can use and it all depends on what you want to catch and how hard you want this task to be.
The crew provides all gear, bait, tackle, instruction, music, fish processing and bagging as well as a knowledgeable hard-working mate. With a set up like this, you don't need to be an experienced angler to enjoy this adventure. Just prepare your fishing license and bring some snacks and drinks.

Trent Green5.03 / 29 Striper slaying with Captain Will
Striped Bass Morning Trip on March 29, 2021Went out for a striper charter in Perth Amboy on a day where it was fairly windy. Soon I completely forgot how windy and cold it was because there was a fish on just about all the time. Started with trolling which was the most successful and I think the quickest we hooked a fish was 20ft. Soon moved on to casting and jigging which was not as successful but still some of the most exciting fishing of my life constant action. For my first time ever striper fishing captain Will made a challenging task easy and enjoyable, the boat caught well over 30 striper in a 5 hour period, guy really knows his stuff, will be a fishing trip I will always remember and the first of many with a great charter crew.

Striped Bass Morning Trip on April 11, 2020Had a awesome experience with captain bill on basslines. Bill made sure we all had a great day and worked hard to put us on fish. The boat had a lot of room and was very clean. Definitely would recommend. Very hard to find a good captain with a happy personality.
