These waters are known for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Flounder, Black Drum, Striped Bass, Tarpon, and more. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Catch cleaning is available for an extra fee.
You'll be dropping lines from a 24' Blue Wave bay boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

He took us to 5-6 different places, using a variety of poles and lures and bait he had prepared. Boat was in good condition with handy cooler for the fish heβd stocked with ice. He had ensured there were life jackets for adults and our two 8 year olds, and he gave them some helpful lessons on how to cast and reel. Great music while we fished together and very fun cruising at high speed on the water! Capt Brad had a great attitude, sharing tips and stories when asked, and he stayed positive when we didnβt catch many fish at first, other than 2 trout, and in the last 1-2 hours we caught 6 big red drum! It was exciting when multiple rods were bending down at the same time. We had a great time on the boat ride and enjoyed the beauty of the area. He cleaned the fish for us dockside on a cleaning table and thoughtfully provided Ziploc bags for easy transport of the filets. His experience chartering fishing trips definitely shows, and we had a great time!

The boys just wanted to catch fish and me and my daughter were there for the ride and if we caught something it was a bonus. Even if meant waking up way earlier than we like :) My son Parker was the winner by far. And the smile on his face made it worth every penny catching striped Bass and a red fish bigger than him. Would definitely recommend Brad over and over as your captain!

On the day of the trip Captain Brad was there before us, kindly waiting. He knew where all the good fishing spots were. He was a wealth of knowledge- educating us on the water's ecosystem and what we were seeing. We had a blast! Definitely recommend.
