Your Captain specializes in offering top-quality private charters for small and large groups. You'll be fishing aboard a top-of-the-line 44ft Henriques offshore sport fishing vessel. She can accommodate up to 20 guests and is fully licensed for all of them. Your comfort and safety is Capt. Joe's top priority – onboard, you'll find all of the necessary navigational equipment to get you to the hotspots, as well as life jackets, a full toilet, and air-conditioning. There are also outriggers to maximize your trolling potential!
As for the species you'll be targeting? It all depends on whether you opt to explore nearshore waters, or want to head further out on an offshore extravaganza! You'll have the option to troll for King and Spanish Mackerel, bottom fish for a variety of Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack, and even come face-to-gills with the hard-fighting Mahi Mahi. Your captain and crew will be on hand to help you try out and refine different techniques.

Adam, CJ, and Brian were complete professionals and really made the trip so much fun! We all got to catch and keep several fish, the biggest catch of the day was a sailfish! I 100% wouldve never got it in if it weren’t for the crew coaching me through what to do and the captains crafty boat maneuverability! One of the best days of our lives!

The entire crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. What really stood out was how patient and helpful they were with our young kids. They went above and beyond to accommodate their experience level, made sure they were comfortable, and worked hard to get them on fish. Watching the kids catch fish and have such a great time made the trip unforgettable. We caught a great variety of fish, including Red Snapper, Mingos, and Mackerel, and the crew was always willing to answer questions and share their expertise throughout the day. If you're looking for a family-friendly charter with a professional crew that genuinely wants everyone to have a great experience, I highly recommend Cool Change Charters. We'd absolutely fish with them again.

The time out on the water was exactly what we wanted and we appreciated Joe and the crew doing everything they could to get us on the fish and help us have a great trip. we caught a ton of spanish mackrel and a few red snapper. the crew were all great with my 11 and 6 year old daughters who now won’t stop asking about when they can go out again. i would highly recommend Cool Change Charters, you’ll be glad you did.

5 Hour Trip – Combo - 7:00 AM on June 9, 2026 • 7 adults • 1 childthis was the first time any of us fished in the gulf. much less on a charter. the deck hand adam very respectful even got a few fish on line for my grandson to reel in. we caught our limit on red snapper and caught a couple king mackerel along with some Spanish mackerel. it was a great day. my only complant is it wasnt long enough, but that is no fault of theres we got exactly what we paid for and more. my hats off to cool change . Hopefully i can book another if we come back.

The boat had a nice inside/covered area which was perfect for the kids to take breaks and stay out of the sun when needed. The crew was incredibly patient, helpful, and made sure every kid had a chance to catch fish and have fun. They were great with families and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. Captain Joe put us on the fish....again....and you could not ask for a better deckhand than Adam! 4 Hour – Trolling Family Special on June 4, 2026 • 7 adults • 1 childThe weather was not cooperating but Joe and Adam were excellent in helping us in finding a great place to fish in the bay since the offshore was not available. Adam was wonderful helping us out with all the fish we were catching, and Captain Joe was great at helping us find great spots and would move if fish weren't biting. Success fishing trip and we would highly recommend going with this crew!
