There’s absolutely nothing that beats a day on the water! Spend it with Davy Jones Fishing Company! Captain Dave has been traveling the East Coast of Florida honing his craft since 2001. There are no guarantees when it comes to fishing but Capt. Dave will do his best to put you on the fish of a lifetime! You never know what we’ll come across, dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and even a submarine have been spotted in the past!
You’ll be fishing in a well-kept 26’ Sailfish or the 24’ Seafox with ample storage and comfort for up to 6 people (for compliance with safety regulations all children on board must be at least 6 years of age). The newest and best quality gear will help you battle the huge variety of inshore and offshore fish in the area. The boat is powered with twin Yamaha Outboard motors for safety and security offshore. You’ll typically cruise around 35 mph and have ample storage space and seating. There’s a toilet, a cooler, ice boxes, 50 gallon live well, fresh/salt wash down, and radio.
Catch fish using live, frozen, fresh cut, and artificial bait depending on the targeted species in the area at the time. Inshore trips generally encompass the Ponce Inlet, Halifax River, and Indian River areas. Nearshore trips focus on fishing some of the nearby reefs, while offshore fishing can take you even further into the ocean! The crew also can video and takes photos, so that you can focus on the fish!
Fishing license, sunscreen, water, bait, and gear are all included. Your captain highly recommends bringing lunches and snacks, as well as any extra beverages you would like. You’re welcome to bring alcohol and drink responsibly. Wear appropriate clothing, as mornings can be cold, and by afternoon it will feel like a sauna. Rain gear is also a good consideration. Parking at the ramp may cost up to $12.

Captain Dave did not disappoint with a variety of baits for any circumstance that might have arrived given the recent cold weather that arrived. We nearly limited out on Sheepshead, caught a couple of Black Drum, the biggest being +31". I learned some new techniques and gained valuable knowledge for someone newer to fishing marine environments. 10/10 highly recommend for anyone new or experienced to put you on some fish!

Our crew had a wide range of ages and every single one of us had such a great time. Dave is clearly an expert and brought us to the best spots. Fish were flying everywhere and Dave was such a calm and present captain. His love for his job was evident and it made the experience fantastic. On our way back he stopped the boat because he spotted manatees and wanted us all to be able to see them even though we were past our allotted time. We will book with him every time now and you should too.

3 Hr Shark Fishing Trip on June 25, 2024 • 2 adultsCapt Dave was ready to go at our scheduled time and prepared for our shark trip. It was just my 15 yo daughter and I which made for a fun time. The 26’ center console comfortably accommodated us with room for a few more. Weather cooperated so the inlet wasn’t an issue. Capt Dave had a shark on with 15 minutes which was certainly not expected. He was great with my daughter even assisting with her shark holding pics. Capt Dave is very pleasant, courteous and enthusiastic; you can tell his priority is providing a safe and fun experience. We’d charter him again for sure. Great value! Thanks, Capt. Dave!

Dave was very knowledgeable and even stayed on the water longer to try to get my son a really big fish. Dave fillet the fish and even called a local restaurant, so it could be prepared for us. We caught over 20 fish, including several different species and had great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this captain, very dialed in on where the fish are, when they bite and what they bite. 5 stars all the way!

Captain Dave did a great job! Fishing was tough but Dave never gave up and ultimately we pulled in 2 huge reds, both giving us the big fights we were looking for! Nice job Captain!
