Izzi's Big Mouth Guide Service
Welcome to Izzi's Big Mouth Guide Service, a fishing guide service based in Garibaldi, Oregon that also operates in Tillamook and Netarts Bay, Buoy 10 fishery, all the Columbia River, and everything in between. Whatever location you choose, you and Captain Craig Izzi will be fishing the spots with the biggest chance of catching. The captain's got 40 years of fishing experience and he knows how to create an excellent trip. Join him and have a great time on the waters around Garibaldi!
You'll be fishing from a 29' D Tech aluminum fishing boat that can accommodate up to 6 anglers. It's powered by one 250 HP engine and uses a comprehensive electronic navigation system. The boat is wheelchair-accessible and Captain Craig encourages all the guests with disabilities to join him aboard. The boat will provide you with an ice-box so you can store your fish and drinks and is also equipped with downriggers.
The range of fishing you can do is wide. Depending on the weather, on the offer are ocean fishing, Sturgeon catch and release as well as retention season, and bottom fishing for Lingcod and Black Seabass. You can also chase Dungeness Crab, Salmon, Steelhead, and Halibut. You'll catch by bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, and jigging. If the season is right, you can keep all the fish you catch. Kids are more than welcome to join the trip, so do bring them as well.
Captain Craig covers you for all the fishing gear, live bait, and lures. He'll also clean, fillet, and bag your catch. Before you leave, just make sure you've packed your licenses, snacks, and drinks.

Oh and my daughter who is 12 caught her first salmon. He really took care of her, so if you have kids. Then went and caught Rockfish. The end of the day was pulling 60 Crabs out of pots. One of my favorite trips, and can’t wait for him to get his boat so we can do Tuna. Highly recommend.

Full Day Trip – Bottom Fishing on June 15, 2024 • 4 adultsCraig communicated with me prior to the trip. Told us what to expect as far as the weather. We got some rain and choppy waves but still managed to drop some crab pots. Despite 3 of us getting seasick, we tried to fish but the stomachs ruled. We can back a little early and collected what crab we could keep. Craig cooked them for us to enjoy when everyone got their land legs back under them. Lol. All in all he was professional, informative, organized and his boat was clean and super comfortable. I will book with him again and hopefully under better weather conditions. Nature 1 humans 4 crabs! That’s ok. We will try again! Such a blast (at least for me, I brought my sea legs).

Had a fantastic time with Izzi’s Big Mouth Guide Service and Captain Izzi! We did a combo fish and limited out on sea bass and caught more than enough crab. Izzy was our Captain for three crabbing trips. We had a wide range of ages and everyone had the best time. Izzy is a great Captain. He was funny, informative, very observant. All the grandkids thought he was the best.
Even though it rained, we had a great time. We had four adults and two kids. It was one of the best things the kids did on their vacation. Izzy was the best. He engaged everyone, so they were part of the experience.
