Come fish aboard the Apex Predator. The most consistent producing charter boat in Fort Pierce. Experienced and knowledgeable Captain that has fished this area for 20 years. We pride ourselves in providing a top quality and fun fishing adventure for both the experienced and novice fisherman.
Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and King Mackerel are all targeted species while fishing out of Fort Pierce. Our relatively close proximity to the Gulf Stream also makes it so we are quick to the fishing grounds as well, so you spend more time fishing versus riding.
With many artificial and natural reefs close to our shores we also have great bottom fishing. Snapper, Grouper, Cobia and Trigger Fish are abundant and eager to bite a hook.
We are all about providing smiles and great experiences. We are family friendly and believe in “ tackle boxes before Xboxes”.
All licensing, bait and tackle is provided as well as fish cleaning at the end of the day.

Full Day Offshore on July 1, 2023My brother is a business man and had some clients in town and wanted to impress them with some Florida fishing. We chartered Apex Predator because we had heard the captain knew what he was doing and could bring in some winners. I was just looking for a day in the water but my brother wanted to show the guys a good time. We had a great day offshore!! Captain Gill took us exactly where we found some dolphin and even a sailfish. We were really impressed with all the dolphin and even a few king fish. The guys were awesome and you could tell they knew what they were doing! My brother has booked with them a few times now and we will be back out with these guys again soon. Definitely the guys you want showing you around the waters. Thanks, Capt Gill!!

The Captain contacted us the day before to go over what kind of fishing we were interested in catching and made a game plan with us. The Captain and first mate were very knowledgeable and we moved through the day seamlessly. The boat was clean and the equipment too notch. I would highly recommend using Apex Oreditor Charters.

Full Day Offshore on March 28, 2022 • 5 adults • 1 childMy wife, father in law and I had what my father in law called "one of the best days he can remember " abord the Apex Predator. Captain Gil had us on the fish when other captains were heading back to port with little or no fish (confirmed by the staff at the marina). We also saw a few sea turtles along with one leather back turtle the size of a king sized bed (really, no exaggeration, its head was more than twice the size of mine and I have a big head). The only complaint I had was with the weather man. He called for 2-3 foot seas but mother nature gave us some 5 -6 foot seas for a good part of the morning. Captain Gill handle this like a seasoned pro, however. One of the best parts of the day was simply talking with Captain Gil and Hunter. It was very enjoyable just getting to know the both of them. They are definitely good people. They didn't even get irritated with me when I accidentally completely released the drag on the reel and caused a bird's nest while reeling I my Mahi. I felt like an idiot but they just acted like nothing happened and kept going (they still voted the fish despite my dumbass maneuver). Needless to say, we will be back as soon as we can. Thank you again Captain Gill and Hunter. I hope you got that hay on time 😀

Full Day Offshore on November 10, 2023 • 4 adultsWe were booking from Canada for a trip during vacation. Did a bunch of research and reading of reviews. Landed on Gil & the Apex Predator. Gil’s attitude and demeanor sold us. He was hungry to find fish and impress us. The fishing was slower than we hoped due to the weather which was understandable. Gil and his mate Hunter went above and beyond to locate and track them down. Finally he found us some Mahi and the rods exploded into a celebratory day. Thanks for the great time Gil & Hunter. Highly recommend to anyone. Hot tip - bring these guys a little boarding gift of some kind if you want to see them really burn it up. Cheers.
