North Fork Sportfishing offers to take you on a fun-packed fishing trip to Lake Michigan! Starting out of Kenosha, Wisconsin, you and Captain Kris Davis will head out to the lake and have a great time chasing fish and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Pick your day and have a lovely fishing experience with North Fork Sportfishing!
Your trip will start on a 32' Luhr express cruiser big enough to sit up to 6 guests. It's powered by twin 260 HP Marine Power engines that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. The boat uses comprehensive navigation technology that will help you reach the fish quickly and safely. You have access to the onboard toilet, kitchen, shower, bed, and flybridge, and you can use the refrigerator and ice-box. The boat's also equipped with downriggers.
You and your guide will chase Lake, Brown, and Rainbow Trout, as well as Chinook and Coho Salmon. You'll be trolling to attract them and you get to keep all the fish you catch. Kids are always welcome to join aboard.
Captain Kris not only provides you with all the rods, reels, tackle, and lures, but will also clean, fillet, and bag your catch. The only things you should bring are your licenses, snacks, and drinks.

He LOVES to fish!Our day off the coast of Kauai in July was quite disappointing as we didn't have even one strike. So I booked us for a mid-October outing with Kris. We had the very best time, and Jason caught 5 Kings & cohos, and I caught 1 King, 1 coho and 1 Rainbow. Kris was a patient, expert teacher to Jason and after losing the first one, Jason quickly caught on, he nailed it and caught everything. We had an amazing experience and we will be sure to fish again with Kris in 2026!

We were able to catch a lot of fish and he helped us every step of the way. It was such a great time that on the way home all of my adult kids said they wanted to do it again next year. I don’t have anything negative to say about it trip at all. You won’t regret your charter with North Fork Sportfishing!!

3/4 Day Trip (AM) on August 20, 2022 • 6 adultsWe had a great time with Captain Kris and first mate Blake on our afternoon excursion. The fish were slow to bite, but Kris is an experienced captain and made the needed adjustments to get on the action. Kris communicated with some other boats in the area to coordinate the hunt for the best fishing spots. You don't want a lone wolf captain out there, but one who cooperates with others so everyone has a good time. We landed three nice rainbows first before getting after some kings and coho as well as a few lake trout. We certainly did get a workout since many of the fish happened to bite on the lines farthest and deepest from the boat. We ended up with a nice lot of 13 fish fishing with a group of four. We had opportunities to land several more, maybe even up to our limit, but lost some due to our inexperience. Kris was able to point out things we were doing wrong with our approach so that we were more successful. We snapped a line due to overloading the drag on a pole which resulted in a stranded planer board, lost rigging, and a fish. However, to everyone's amazement, we ended up snagging that line a little later and recovered everything. Now that is a neat fishing story to remember! We will definitely join Kris again in the future.
