Spend a relaxing day on the waters of Florida and create memories fishing with Reel Passion Charters. Starting out of Clearwater, you and Captain Nick will explore inshore and nearshore waters up to 9 miles off the coast as well as lovely flats and the backcountry. Captain Nick has been fishing Florida's West Coast for as long as he can remember and will provide you with a trip to remember. Join him aboard and have a terrific time catching fish!
Your boat for the day will be a beautifully restored 25' Privateer bay boat. It's powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine and can sit up to 5 anglers. The boat is equipped with a fishfinder, radio, as well as GPS for efficient navigation, a wireless trolling motor, second station, and a livewell. Also, there's an ice-box you can use for storing your drinks and fish.
There are some great species you'll encounter on your sea journey, some of them being Redfish, snook, Tarpon, Gag Grouper, Spotted Seatrout, and Sheepshead. You'll use light tackle bottom fishing and spinning to attract them and you're free to keep all the fish that doesn't require releasing. Kids are always welcome, so feel free to bring them on your adventure.
Your trip will include all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, fishing licenses, drinks, as well as catch cleaning. The only thing left for you to bring is whatever food you like.

My two kids and I had an epic 4 hour fishing trip with Nick connecting on a little bit of everything. As a fisherman myself, I know these days are not guaranteed so when booking understand its fishing and there are a ton of factors that play into fishing this area. The cool thing about nick, is he is willing to adjust based on what he is seeing. He’s a passionate fisherman himself and will work just as hard to get you on fish as if he were fishing by himself or with family and friends. 3 hour fishing trip 8-11 am on March 27, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 childrenstarted off as a kids fish but Nick was prepared for anything. he made sure the kids felt attended to and caught fish immediately. we went to catch some other species but nick spotted a goliath grouper and because he came prepared for anything we were able to pivot and catch it. after a long fight we landed it. kids had a blast and an ever lasting memory. nick was great with the kids and you could tell he had a ton of passion for his job. really nice boat and reliable equipment.

Afternoon trip with captain Nick
4 Hour Trip - 12:00 PM on June 24, 2024Nick provided us a trip that we will remember for the rest of our lives! We started out catching dinner (grunts) and while doing that we caught some hogfish, mother in law fish, puffer fish and several others! Then the last hour we headed to go and try to get a big tarpon! We actually got two but ended up coming off the hook before we got it reeled all the way up, but got to see it jump in the air, which was just as an amazing experience!!! We even got to see a dolphin, swam right up to our boat! Needless to say we will be back and will even bring the kids next time! Nick makes you feel comfortable and truly tailors the trip to your needs!

We caught a lot of fish but they were all small. the captain did everything he could including moving us multiple times but that's just the way it goes sometimes. We still had great time and would highly recommend this charter. this was my first charter where they went out of their way to bait your hook for you and remove the fish from your line. Made it really easy to fish.
