Bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, jigging, popping, spearfishing, spinning - name it, and the captain will help you do it! Apart from various angling approaches, the captain will share his tips and tricks on targeting species like Barracuda, Sailfish, Marlin, Amberjack, Little Tunny, and Golden Dorado.
Their 25' Ocean Pro boat can fit a maximum of 7 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box and wireless trolling motor. So, you'll easily reach your fish and then safely store it in the ice box. And, of course, you'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
You'll find free drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you're always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. Please keep in mind you'll NOT need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip.
The captain runs trips together with his first mate, who's there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done. They're very good with kids, so feel free to bring your entire family on this adventure!

Totally recommend this trip, and the price was the best one I found. It was worth it. Will repeat it again next time we visit playa del Carmen . After, they cleaned and cut the fish and told the restaurant to cook it. We had grilled fish and fresh ceviche.

HALF DAY FISHING TRIP on January 16, 2026 • 2 adultswe only did the 4 hr trip so we stayed pretty close to shore. we caught one king fish on the way out while trolling, and then spent the rest of the day anchored to catch smaller fish. if you want to catch big fish only, pay the money for the longer day. luis and raymond were great!

The currents were to strong to go for yellowtail, so they put us on some inshore reefs and trolled some other areas. Caught a mess of trigger fish, that the captain filleted for us on the beach. They had a cooler full of water, soda, and beers. Great value for a smaller price. Way worth it!

Had a chance for a Sailfish and it jumped off the hook after 4 leaps out of the water. Also, lost a giant when we were jigging, the fish bit clean through 150# test line. I would go again in a heartbeat....

We had a great day catching dorado and had a sailfish attack one of our baits, unfortunately he missed the hook. If you not looking to blow the bank but get out on the water and do some fishing I highly recommend this trip! We caught 9 dorado and a tuna in a half day can’t ask for much more. the crew were awesome, they all had great vibes! I would definitely do it again!

HALF DAY FISHING TRIP on May 31, 2024 • 2 adultsI booked this trip for my son and I last minute. The captain Javier and deckhand Alfredo were awesome. They were able to pick us up right at the resort. We fished for 4 hours and loaded the boat with mahi mahi. We caught so many we ran out of bait and then kept catching them on lures. These guys were super friendly and did a great job of always keeping lines in the water. We basically fished all the way back to the beach. Catching one last fish in the last 5 minutes of the four hours. I'd definitely book another with these guys.
