Based out of San Pedro, Fish 101 Belize is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.
Come on aboard with Capt. Ian, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, spearfishing, and spinning based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Grouper, Lobster, and Hogfish, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your adventure begins on board a 25' Captain Sharks boat that can fit a maximum of 5 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box and a fighting chair. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price.
Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. You can keep anything you catch as long as it's legal to do so. Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated.
The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks, drinks, and lunch, but you're welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.
Children are welcome aboard, so you're good to get the young ones started early.

Night fishing on July 13, 2026 • 1 adultNight fishing on the ocean was such an incredible experience! It was beautiful and sureal being out there in the dark with all the mysteries on the sea! Ian was very knowledgeable and fun to be around! He was just as excited to cath the fish as I was! A true fisherman at heart! I went alone on this trip and felt aomcomfortable and had so much fun, I immediately booked a second night trip for later on the week! You can’t go wrong booking with Ian and you never know what’s lurking out there in the dark!

Full Day Trip – Fishing/Beach BBQ on April 19, 2026 • 4 adults • 1 childMyself, my husband and our 2 boys (11 and 13) went out with Captain Fish for the full day trip with snorkeling and beach bbq trip, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He shared great insights with us and really rolled with everything. Super knowledgeable and really good to the kids. When the fish weren’t biting we moved to another spot. Everyone caught fish which was great. Snorkeling was fantastic and Fish looked out for us pointing out turtles and sharks in the water while he prepped lunch on the boat. The lunch which was cooked right on the beach was incredibly delicious (plus great rum punch!). Even our picky kids loved lunch and swimming around in the shallows while Fish cooked. A ride through the iguana preserve and under the bridge back to our resort’s dock was the perfect way to end the trip. If you are considering booking a fishing tour or snorkeling trip seriously consider Fish 101 Belize. 5 stars!
