Running angling trips out of Porters Corner, Fishtales Outfitting – Clark Fork River invites you to check out the local fishery in style.
Capt. Michael aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you're after! Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like fly fishing, and drift fishing. You're looking at 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Cutthroat Trout, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your boat for the day will be a 15' ClackaCraft that fits up to 2 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.
Fishtales Outfitting – Clark Fork River offers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water.
The boat will be supplied with snacks, drinks, and lunch for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
Want to bring the rest of the family along for the ride? Kids are welcome, so you're free to make it a family adventure.
Under no circumstances will we put more than 2 people in a boat.

We were a bit disappointed however that the trip was shorter than we'd expected and the details arranging it were a bit stressful.
