Action Jackson Sportfishing
Action Jackson Sportfishing is located at Indian River Marina and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.
Capt. Christopher is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, kite fishing, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 4 to 12-hour trips, you can target species like Flounder, Wahoo, Tilefish, Seabass, Dolphin, and Black Drum, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
You'll be fishing from a 35' Henriques boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet and an ice box.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter.
You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip. The captain and or mate will be working hard to keep your hooks baited and take the fish off your hook. Tips at then end of the day are customary and greatly appreciated for a days hard work.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

6 Hour Trip - Bottom Fishing on July 13, 2024 • 3 adultsWeather was not good for our schedule trip. Captain Chris was very good at keeping us informed. He had to cancel our original trip do to weather reports. He was able to offer us the next day due to another cancelation. We were hoping for some flounder, but we caught so many sea bass, the action was none stop. The bonus was we hooked into 3 sandbar sharks. Even though they are protected we were able to get them to the boat and release them.. Highly recommend ACTION JACKSON Captain Chris and 1st Mate Zach. Will surely be booking with them next year.

4 Hour Trip (PM) on July 13, 2023 • 5 adultsMy family and I are visiting Rehoboth from Upstate NY (Rochester) and went on a Shark trip with Captain Chris. He couldn’t have been nicer & made the trip fun for my boys. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about salt water fishing and the sharks. The weather was dicey with some wind and water was a little rough. We didn’t have anything after the first hour and a half & was getting a little worried. Chris told us not to worry & that he was confident we’d catch some. We caught two beautiful Tiger Sand sharks (one quite large). The first one we caught was about 7 feet long and 250-300lbs. I was shocked by the size as we got it to the boat. The boys were elated by this experience & have a camera full of pics with amazing pics & videos. I can’t say enough about Captain Chris and this experience. I highly recommend - especially a Shark Trip!! Thank you, Captain Chris. :)

8 Hour Trip – Flounder on July 17, 2024 • 4 adultsSeas were to rough to make it out to our 20 mile destination for flounder and sea bass. Since we were in town for just the week we could not reschedule the trip. Instead of cancelling the trip the captain christopher did his best to accommodate the situation and put us on some shark fishing and inlet fishing. Zack, his first mate was an all around great guy. We definitely had a great trip highly recommend this outfit.

Chris and Zach were patient, engaged the kids (14, 13 and 11) and sure enough as the tide changed in came the hungry sharks! We pulled in five which gave everyone a turn reeling them in. Even the youngest had a turn at the reel with Zach and Chris’s help. Great day on the water!

Captain Chris and First Mate Anthony were professional, patient, and friendly. The boat is comfortable, and clean. Our family enjoyed our 4 hour trip and caught tons of blue fish. We had a bunch cleaned and prepped at the bait and tackle and brought it home for dinner. We definitely do another trip with this crew. Great communication prior to the trip as well!

the trip was great. we caught spanish mackerel and blue fish to our hearts content. First mate Anthony was super, and had each individual's needs figured out and gave help as was appropriate. Captain Chris was first rate handeling the Action Jackson

Captain and the mate were both excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They worked hard to help us find some good areas to catch fish. We caught blue fish, tautog, toad fish, and flounder. Highly recommend
