Texas Deep Sea Fishing – 33' Contender 

Captain Marshall and First Mate Sam were great from the time we got to the peer till we we were driving away with a full cooler of fish. My wife, daughter and myself had a great first time deep sea fishing! Captian Marshall had us catching King Mackrel, Cobia, Red Snapper & Vermillion Snapper. Weather was great and we traveled out about 42 miles. We seen lots of dolpins and even a large sea turtle along our trip. Sam & Marshall both were very knowledgeable and accommodating to our experiences and comfort throughout the trip! I highly recommend booking a trip with Texas Deep Sea Fishing they are very professional and knowledgeable! We will book again and probably bring more family along! Great time & great fun! I’ve been on guided trips before so this isn’t new. What I noticed was how organized and clean the boat was. That makes a difference in how easy and safe it is to get around on it and for the crew to assist you. Second, these boats are never comfortable, usually a padded cooler to sit on at best and if you’re like me at 56, it wears you down being jarred across choppy waters. These guys have beanbags to sit on. I literally wasted at least 2 hours while my son fished, napping. I was tired to begin with but the actual amount of fish caught meant that for a couple hours, it seemed like every time I dropped the line in the water, I immediately caught one or two fish. As in immediately. No exaggeration. Of course due to slot limits and the law, we threw back 3 out of four fish landed, but I now have a blister on my palm and soreness in my back and shoulder from cranking the reel handle most of the day. We still ended up with a stupid amount of fish to bring home. I’d book these guys again.

my son and I booked a 10 hour charter with Captain Marshall and his partner Sam. We could not be more happy super great folks put us on Fish that we weren’t expecting. Limited out a multiple species. The guys are professionals no doubt. I don’t know why anybody would want to book another charter. We will definitely be back.

We caught the entire ocean. it was a great trip. started the days on Kingfish, caught a mess of beeliners, a few amberjack we let go, and then limited out on snapper. Could not have asked for a better day. Captain Booker and Sam were outstanding. we will go again.

We went from seeing a whale shark, to having Mahi swim up to the boat, to catching a flounder in 600ft water! The crew was a blast, well skilled and super knowledgeable about their spots and what they do. Overall excellent experience and will definitely have to do again!

Capt Marshall, as always, puts us on fish all day all 3 days. Dont book with anyone else besides this outfitter. trust me, its a bucket list trip! we caught the whole ocean, every single day. Great Guide. See ya next year!

couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Would recommend Captain Marshall and Sam to anybody that wants to go and catch fish and have good company. It was more of a catching trip than a fishing trip. Five stars plus!

Captain Marshall and deck hand Sam were Excellent and put us on Good Snapper and a pile of Mahi which are the two things I was wanting to get. I’ll book another here! Highly Recommend!

Captain marshall was very entertaining. Got us on top of the fish. Whole crew had a good time. no complaints. boat was plenty big enough for the five of us. Anglers new and old will enjoy captain Marshall. experience or not, captain will get you were you need to be. make sure to get the extra red drum tag, you’ll need it!

This was the first time id ever been on a boat. Wow, this was an experience of a lifetime. The wether was not ideal and kiddos got sea sick but the captain new exactly how to handle everything and turned everything around for the best and all of us ended up having a blast. I would definitely do this again! highly recommend.
