Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Tarpon, Gag Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Tripletail, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Pompano, and more could be biting, depending on the season.
Trips with Wish Upon A Fish Charters are great for kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children under the age of 6 are required to wear a life jacket while the boat is under way. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 22' Tidewater bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
You'll find rods, reels, live bait and all the proper tackle waiting for you.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Bringing sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses is never a bad idea. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Every spot he put us on we caught fish… We caught lady fish, founder, grouper, pinfish, mangrove snapper, redfish, and speckled trout. it was a long four hours and we had a great time. Would go out again.

First Off , Captain Ethan was outstanding!!! He definitely went the extra mile for our Family and of itself made the trip worth it, but secondly, we all cought lots of fish, from Big Red’s ,to Big Flounder to, to Speckle Trout. 7 different species of fish in all. We most certainly would and will recommend Captain Ethan at Wish upon a fish character’s and use Him again our next trip!!!
Ethan was a great captain and a very knowledgeable and helpful host. Great communication and was very attentive. He knew what fish was on our line before we even reeled it in. I will definitely book again with him and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to book a fishing charter.
