Spend the day with Threel Seaker Charters and let me show you what makes the fishing in Milwaukee so memorable! Having logged many hours on these tides, I Captain Rocky can tell you all about them.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and plenty more. During the trip we will be trolling.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is a 32' Wellcraft offshore sport fishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
And that's it! Your fishing trip with Threel Seaker Charters is just a click away.

Chartered the boat for 5 hours. Before we left Boat Cpt Rocky reached out and said if you want to catch fish we need to leave earlier. so we changed out departure time and it maid all the difference. We caught the morning bite and it was great! we put 9 fish in the boat. We certianly had out chance at limiting out, but thats why they call it fishing and not gathering. we had a great time.

was a wonderful family, fun trip. fishng ws slow, but Captain Rocky helped us find some nice salmon and a big trout, He was wonderful with the7 yr old boy who was with us. He also helped our mama to be with some lavender oil to help with her sea sickness. couldn't have asked for a better trip. thanks Catain Ron! we will be scheduling again next year.
Our 9 year old is still grinning from ear to ear about the 15 pound 8 ounces Brown Trout he caught! What a catch for a little kid! Captain Rocky and his first mate did an excellent job helping him reel it in and savor the moment of such a great catch. He is hooked and can't wait to go out again.
Took my son in law and 2 grandsons out on Lake Michigan for the first time and had a good time. Even though we only caught one King Salmon, Captain Rocky took us over the fish, but they just wouldn't bite. I would definitely go back out with him and Shane!
We put 12 in the box, lost 6, and ended up with some really nice cohos, a rainbow, several big browns and several good eating size kings! Thank you Rocky and Chris for a wonderful trip. See you again!
Captain Rocky was fantastic. He went above and beyond to make sure that we caught fish. My family and I had an amazing and memorable time aboard the Threel Seaker. Will definetly return to catch the big one!

Rocky is an experienced captain and fisherman. It was obvious as the day started slow, perhaps due to the storms the night before, Rocky put us on some nice Coho salmon and one catch of the day, brown trout. I was happy to get my first fish on the boat (after losing my first two). We had a group of three and we each had 3 fish, thinking it was a pretty good haul for the trip. Then suddenly a fish frenzy happened and three more salmon were added to our total! It was so exciting getting those last three fish in about 15 minutes! Rocky and Krystle were so professional and friendly. I would recommend Threel Seekers to everyone who wants to have fun fishing on Lake Michigan with great catch results
Capt. Rocky and his first mate met us at 4:30 am, and we got under way quickly. All the safety and fishing particulars were covered and we had our first coho netted within 30 minutes after. In all we netted 9 coho, and lost another 6 or so. (My son almost landed a steelhead, but that’s his story to tell!) All in all I highly recommend Threel Seaker charters for a good time with a great crew.
We had a wonderful experience with Capt Rocky and first mate Crystal on Threel Seekers late afternoon charter excursion. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, has great equipment and made our experience extra special for our 13yr old grandson. We definitely look forward to booking with them again!!!
