The Jill Louise with Captain Dave can hold up to 30 people. The boat can hold large private or public groups. The $90 per person price is for a public trip. Jill Louise isn't your average Headboat; she’s agile and able to get you into the skinny waters where other headboats can't get to. Please inquire about our private trip prices. Species like Flounder, Whiting, Bluefish, Mackerel, Black Seabass, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Pompano, Redfish, Gray Triggerfish, Weakfish, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 50’ Evans headboat with a capacity for 30 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water, including an ice-cold air-conditioned cabin! There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you aboard.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Please bring sunblock. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid glass bottles.
NOTE: We need 15 people to make a trip go.
No shared Bachelor parties only private trips.

Multiple doubles and triples, which resulted in some bantering and tangled lines. Captain Josh and First Mate Cole ran their butts off keeping the lines in the water. Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend!

Cole was great explaining how what and why to the kids with everyting he did. and he worked his butt off keepin up with all the fish they were catching. boat is great, smooth ride and roomy. even later in the day when waves started getting large it was great. overall awesome first ocean fish trip for grandsons.

I understand guide/customer disputes are difficult but blocking a service this good is a travesty.

With fours kids ages 8-11 having never done this type of fishing before we were nervous how they would be received. Cole did a great job walking the group through what to do and made sure the kids understood what to do. Dave walked us through our options of where we could fish, we opted for the sea over the sound and it did not disappoint. On the way out there were multiple dolphin sightings that the captain slowed for and allowed the kids to observe them passing. The quantity of fish caught far exceeded our expectations! The kids out caught the adults and Cole and Dave were right there supporting them. The kids are looking forward to the next trip. We will be back to the Jill Louis in the future! Highly recommend this boat for any group with kids.

We had a mixed group of adults and kids under 13 yo and everyone caught fish. Both Capt Dave and Cole were working hard to get the fish in the boat and keep the lines with fresh bait. Highly recommend!
