Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own that your Kids like, Capt. Dirk . will Provide it for you. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach! In Colder weather be sure to dress in layers. When it calls for rain be sure to bring good rain gear it will also keep you warmer on those cooler mornings on the water.
Capt. Dirk welcomes you aboard a 24' Blazer Bay boat with room for 5 passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures Live Bait is no problem, but be sure to let us know 24 hours before the trip so we can have it ready and waiting in our 45 gal bait tank. .
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a Lake Texoma Fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water or soda and sunglasses. 3-4 Hour Striper After Noon Trip. on April 11, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 childmy 2 sons and i went out with Captain dirk and GW. The first couple hours, it was on and on rain. At one point, it was raining hard for about 10 minutes, and we were the only boat on the lake. That did not stop them from keeping us fishing. We had a great time hearing them banter and tell old stories back and forth. They did a great job making sure my 9 - and 19 yr old sons had a blast. It was a tough bite that day, but that didn't keep them from trying to help us limit out. we still ended up with about 15 keepers, which is plenty for us. the trip said 3-4 hrs, but they kept with it for about 6-7 hrs, making sure we tried everything possible. We will definitely be going back and booking with Captain dirk again!!

4 Hour Trip – Standard Striped Bass on April 28, 2024 • 2 adultsI got this trip as a gift for my 21st birthday with Dirk Champlin and it was even better then we hoped, we had a late start due to weather there was some lightning and of course didn't want to go out on the water with lightning but even then once the lightning quite enough for us the go out we got to do the full 6 hour trip we paid for a then some, we caught 16 fish and released about 8 and at the end Dirk filleted them good for us. I caught the biggest fish (a 30in Striper) and most fish I've ever caught and it started out rainy but turned into a really great trip! I'd definitely recommend and want to go again!

We boated back into the ramp for a few minutes and then back out to a new spot. Captain Dirk hit it out of the park as we were all catching big fish as fast as he could get them off the hook.
