These waters are known for Amberjack, Sheepshead, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Redfish, Mackerel, Red Snapper, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. During the trip you might be fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be dropping lines from a 24' Sea Fox center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait and frozen bait provided.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask your captain, and he can tell you more. A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, bottled water/drinks, snacks, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is BYOB. If you are in need of lodging feel free to ask, as we own several condos in the Gulf Shores, Al area.

He is courteous, attentive and just a great person to entrust with getting you on fish. We smoked them pretty good the day we went out. After some of my own caused confusion on tactics and my misunderstanding I corrected what I was doing and we got on tons of fish and had hundreds of bites. We caught several species of snapper and even hooked into a giant Greater Amberjack. All of the boxes were checked on my trip. I would 15/10 recommend his charter to any of my friends and family. I will be down to fish with this company again and again.

He was very personable, beyond willing to help, and he walked me through exactly what to do while trying to land a decent sized red fish. We told him there was no pressure as we understood it’s “fishing” not “catching”. He made it his personal mission to put us on fish and we stayed at it until the last minute. We caught red fish and black drum, which we were told were hard to target this time of year. He pulled it off! Great experience and I HIGHLY recommend Justin! His equipment and boat were top notch, too!

His first mate (his son Ethan) and he were prepped, ready, and had us out and fishing quickly. We landed red snapper and mangrove and targeted some others. My daughter landed the fish of her life! it got a bit hot toward the end but Eric kept us moving and hitting different spots. we had a blast and will be back again to fish with him!!! Would definitely recommend him!

We showed us the techniques used to catch two really nice Mangrove Snapper. One was 24 inches. The other 27 inches. We kept our limit of Vermillion Snapper and threw back many more fish! They did an amazing job! Met us a little early to get onto the water faster and took us on an entertaining and fun ride to try and get some Red Snapper! While we were there we caught a few fish but sadly, we did not know that the youngest granddaughter in our group would get seasick. The crew did an amazing job making sure she was comfortable, and we ended our run early, but still had an entertaining ride back. My granddaughter had so much fun, other than getting seasick, that she still wants to go back to this same boat and crew, and try a shorter trip that won't get us too far out next time!

This was our first experience on a fishing charter and i would definitely recommend this company all day long. First Captain Eric was incredibly responsive to all my questions before and after I booked. This was a special birthday present for my daughter and he went above and beyond to make sure the trip was about her. He even went so far as to bring her bithday cupcakes for the special day. The fishing was great with lots of action. Anyone looking for a great fishing trip should definitely reach out to this charter company!
