Homer Fishing Adventures – Blue Fox 

Zach and Lars are THE BEST and gave us the ultimate fishing day! We lucked out with weather, but everything else was credit to having an awesome crew who really knew what they were doing. We hit our limit on halibut, caught a few rockfish, and then pulled in cod after cod after cod with our kids running to reel in whichever line had a fish - sometimes four or five lines at once 😂 We might not ever be able to go fishing again - it was too good! Thank you so much for giving us such a fun day that our boys said was one of the best days of their lives. Would 100% book this again.

For our first chartered fishing trip in Alaska, this trip set high standards going forward. Captin Zack and 1st mate Larz were both very knowledgeable and had a lot of advice from best tasting fish, to processing, to shipping. The day was sunny and water was mostly calm. We caught our limit of rock fish and halibut plus we had a blast catching cod! I especially enjoyed that Zack made it a “team” experience and Larz offered to take pictures multiple times of me holding my fish! :) They were both very nice and had great sense of humor! Absolutely recommend Captin Zack and Larz! We will be back to fish with them again!

Captain and the first mate were awesome! They definitely know where the fish are biting. We were catch Halibut and Cod nonstop. We had an amazing time. Highly Recommended. This trip is best for everyone including kids as they would get the experience of catching fish. Dress Warm, eat breakfast because you may not have time to snack or eat lunch due to the action. But bring snacks, fruit and water for your trip and dress warm with insulated gloves, water boots and layers of clothing.

We had an excellent time!! Forrest told us it was going to be a tough day of fishing. He worked very hard to get us on fish and Lars worked equally as hard helping us catch them. They both had great attitudes and knew what they were doing. Forrest made sure everyone got there fish. Our group was great and we would recommend them to take our friends out!! I really appreciated all there hard work. We caught halibut, salmon, cod and a few different fish also.

Zach and Lars took great care of us for my parents 60th anniversary fishing trip. They made sure that they were comfortable and well taking care of when waves were high where we were supposed to go out to Zach made sure to make adjustments to location to provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for us all. I would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely come back. Thanks for a great day on the water start to finish.

I have personally taken many charters over the years, this is by far hands down the BEST charter I have ever been on, Zach and Lars were immediately welcoming and friendly as me and my group of 4 entered the boat, they immediately got us on fish as we left the bay, these guys are seriously knowledgeable and nice guys. Highly recommend would come back to these guys every time. 10/10 experience

Captian Zach put us on Halibut, Rock Fish and Cod. All great eating size and a blast to catch! Deck hand Larz did a phenomenal job taking care of us and Captian Zach help also. They were informative, socialbe and very good at what they do. The Blue Fox is a fine vessel and hand everything you could need. I highly reccomend them for your once in a lifetime fishing experience!

We went fishing for halibut, cod, and crab and everyone caught their limits!! Captain Forest and Evan were an amazing team! We would highly recommend them to others!

A most amazing fishing trip. Impressive number of cod and halibut and one samon. Captain Zack whom I had nicknamed “fish whisperer” made sure we all caught our share and Lars was a “fish ninja” slicing all of our considerable catch into lovely fillets on the way back to the port. Made wonderful memories. Highly recommend!!!

weather was rolling in the day we were schedueled to go out and we got a call to see if we could go put earlier and we are glad we did. zach brought the positive attitude and intensity to make the trip awesome. The deck hand Lars was great and as quick as we could real up the halibut and cod the more fish we caught.
