If you're looking for a fun day on the high seas, catching big fish with an experienced skipper, 'Foramando' is the boat for you! Skipper Miguel Serra Bestard has been running charters around Mallorca since the early '90s, giving him the experience and the skills to put you and your group on some great fish.
You will be launching from the stunning seaside town of El Arenal, just 15 minutes from Palma De Mallorca. Depending on your trip, you could be fishing the local waters for Seabream and Comber, or heading way offshore in search of Mahi Mahi, Spearfish, Swordfish, and even Bluefin Tuna! You can also drop lines into the depths for delicious Dusky Grouper and Monkfish.
Whatever you do, you couldn't ask for a better boat to spend the day on. The Foramando is a 42' Marea sportfishing yacht with masses of room for 6 guests to spend the day in luxury. She has acres of deck space, plenty of air-conditioned seating inside, and a full bathroom complete with a shower for extra comfort on longer trips. In short, she has it all.
And that's without even getting started on the fishing itself. The boat has outriggers and downriggers to target fish at any depth and speed. Her fighting chair will let you stand your ground against the fiercest bluewater beasts, while her spearfishing equipment will get you up close and personal if you're the adventurous type.

The captain gave us each one rod to catch bait fish and after a while we put one rod for tuna in the water we got one run but it slipped out. Later we cached a Mahi Mahi. Would be greater if we put 1 or 2 more rods for the big fish in the water.

He asked what species we wanted to fish for and he informed us on the best was to fish with the weather and other info. We have 3 children 16, 12 and 10 years old. This boat is a very Kid friendly Captain and boat. He showed us all the emergency equipment and toured his boat. Miguel provided lots of delicious food and drinks from Mallorca. His boat was clean and safe. We caught no fish but not the fault of the Captain. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Miguel made up for the fishing by giving my children time Snorkeling in the ocean. It was their first time and I think they liked that more. Very happy with our day with him and when we return to Mallorca we will gladly fish with him.

5 Hour - Inshore on May 29, 2017 • 4 adultsIt’s often the case that any feedback given to a service provider is largely negative however, it’s important for me to offer some positive feedback regarding my recent fishing trip on which I had an exceptional experience. I found the Captain of the fishing vessel to be a very professional person and committed to providing me with the best possible experience – as a person who fishes recreationally, this was very much appreciated. I was part of a stag party that decided on this activity two days prior to our departure so very much short notice however, I was pleasantly surprised at being contacted in order to propose a different day that would yield better results on the grounds of prevailing weather – unfortunately, due to our departure date, we were unable to take advantage of this offer. The Captain made great efforts to fully explain why we would be fishing in a particular area in order to secure the best possible opportunities to catch driven by the season we were in. The weather was very good and we were able to catch octopus, shark and for me, a great pleasure to be had by trying to land a fish that ‘put up a good fight’. Clearly, everyone wants to catch huge fish but luck very much plays its’ part. I was very interested in the scientific approach adopted in searching for the optimum fishing grounds and greatly appreciated the Captain explaining what the radar was telling us. Finally, as someone who does not have English as a first language, I could fully understand what I was being told and this added significantly to my overall experience. Please be assured I will be more than happy to recommend your service to friends and colleagues.

Great day fishing with Captain Miguel. He has a fantastic boat and over 30 years experience in catching tuna. He provided an excellent lunch but the absolutely highlight was the 45 minute fight with a bluefin, which required both of us to lift into the boat. An unforgettable experience. Thank you Miguel
