Cornelison’s Guided Fishing – 21'
There's a fish with your name on it in Gold Beach or Grants Pass and Cornelison's Guided Fishing will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Timothy, offering years of sportfishing experience.
Around here fishing is popular for Chinook Salmon, and more if conditions are right. For these species, you're likely to troll.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Timothy operates a 21' Yamaha Jet boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Cornelison's Guided Fishing and get hooked!

TJ was awesome. Had both my daughters with me, neither one has much experience fishing. He reached out the night before to confirm our meeting place and time. After giving our showtime instructions, he made sure to answer any questions I had. TJ was active checking our bait and swapping it out. He was very friendly and answered all our questions about fishing. Caught a Jack and a 20lb king salmon. When we got back to the dock, he gave us time to take pictures and then went to work cleaning our catch. Was an incredible experience and I can not recommend him highly enough. A+ on every aspect of the trip.
If you're looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure on the Rogue River, look no further than Cornelison Guide Service and the phenomenal Captain TJ. I had the pleasure of spending a day on the river with Captain TJ, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we met, Captain TJ's enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the Rogue River were immediately apparent. His passion for fishing is infectious, and it's clear he loves sharing that passion with others. TJ's expertise ensure that everyone on board has a fantastic time. The Rogue River is stunning, and Captain TJ knows it like the back of his hand. His ability to read the water and his understanding of fish behavior are second to none, which greatly increases your chances of hooking some impressive fish. And hook them we did! With TJ's expert guidance, we reeled in several beautiful salmon, and his excitement for every catch made the experience all the more enjoyable. But it’s not just about the fishing. Captain TJ is an excellent host, making sure everyone is comfortable and engaged throughout the day.
