You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Warren also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
You’ll find yourself aboard a 20’ Bass boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has and all the essentials.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.

Captain Wes took us out on Lake Fork and was a great teacher and guide for us. We only caught 3 or 4 fish but my son landed a near personal best with a 5.45 lb bass! He was smiling ear to ear! Wes helped us bring it in the boat with his net and then assisted with measuring and weighing the fish. I had hoped for a few more fish but that almost always the case! We had a great time and would recommend Captain Wes, Warren, and Alba Anglers
