Louie has immense knowledge and expertise in all of the Great Lakes of Minnesota and really prioritized the experience we received I’ve never seen a guide go so above and beyond to make sure our trip was worthwhile! Go with Louie and you’ll be glad you did! We ended up catching a ton of walleye, which was our goal, some football sized smallmouth bass and also beautiful pike

Fishing with Louie was great. We didnt quite catch our limit but still got fish in the boat, had a good time, and learned a couple things. Fish was cleaned and packaged for us as well. If the bugs weren’t so bad we probably would have caught more but the mayflies were THICK!

We caught a lot of fish and several species. Louie was awsome to fish with and we had a great tome together on the water. I will definitly go again.

I had one of the best nights of fishing of my entire life with Louie. He was super accommodating and provided tons of high end equipment, jackets, drinks and more. We moved around to many places and were regularly on the fish the whole night. We easily brought in 40+ fish if you count the baby walleyes and panfish (I sure did!!). The best part was Louie made it feel like I was just out fishing with a friend. He gave tons of advice, guidance and demonstration to help Me master new skills quickly and catch fish. Watching a bass strike a frog lure on the surface and the multiple 16” inch plus walleyes were the highlights of the night. Couldn’t recommend Louie more. It’s so clear he’s been fishing at a very high level his entire life. If you show up and let him guide you, if there’s any fish biting, he’s gonna get you in them for sure imo. Can’t wait to go out with him again someday!! Thanks, Captain Louie!

We had a fantastic time fishing with Louie!! Louie was great about where to meet him, his boat was comfortable, and the rods and reels were user friendly. Louie did a great job explaing what kind of fish we were targeting, how to "feel" the bite/strike when the fish were subtle, and how to read the fish finder images. When fishing was slow, Louie changed locations, lures, and techniques to get us back on the fish. We had a incredible full day of fishing and we will definitely book Louie again for our next fishing trip!!

I’m handicap; must use a Cain or a rolator. No problem with Louie. He took care of me like I was his Father since I’m 67 yrs of age. His boat seats are so comfortable! They supported my broken down spine. Louie knows Pelican Lake intimately! He has all the modern necessities like radar. Hummingbird fish finder, modern trolling motor hooked up to his fish finder. All of new poles & reels. Used leeches on jig heads & rappela swim baits. Louie met all of my needs including a massive & compassionate bear hug to left me out of his boat. A great & stable 19 ft deep V aluminum Lund boat during a massive change in the weather. Though catching fish during the 5 hour trip was slow compared to what Louie was use to, we caught fish. I hooked a beautiful 19 to a 20” walleye that gave me a fight but Louie had the net ready & guided me right to his net for a great keeper. Also caught some nice bass. What a beautiful trip. If my body cooperates, I’ll fish with Louie anytime & take my wife & 9 yr old granddaughter with us! Thankyou Louie! You’re the best! My friend!

First time out with captain Louie, very knowledgeable and put me and my friend on fish. The fish were in a bad mood but captain Louie pulled all the tricks to get fish on the board. Louie is a great conversationalist and reminds you of a high school friend that you haven't seen in a long time, highly recommend to seasoned and new fisherman.

We had the best time catching fish with Louie! He was awesome and so fun to be around. I would recommend if you’re in the area to fish with him. He made our trip to Minnesota very memorable and can’t wait to come back to catch more with Louie!
