Capt. Jake runs a 30' Sportfishing boat with space for 6 passengers. We have you covered with downriggers, rods, reels, tackle and the know-how to make it all work for a productive day on the water! There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
AM or PM 1/2 Day or Full Day trips available. Gift Certificates are available if you want to gift the experience to a loved one.
Children are welcome for the outdoor adventure but must wear life vests, so make sure you let Captain Jake know ahead of time before your trip so we have the right sizes.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license with a Great Lakes stamp before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain ahead of time.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and a cooler with drinks and snacks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. No hard liquor or glass bottles are allowed. The waiver is required and life jackets are encouraged.

Captain Jacob and First Mate Jerry were amazing from the moment we stepped on the boat. They were knowledgeable, fun, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than just another charter trip. You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat their guests. Not only did they put us on fish, but they worked hard all day to make sure everyone was having a great time. Thanks to them, we headed home with some incredible fish and even better memories. For our family, this was the perfect Father’s Day spent together on the water. Lots of laughs, great conversation, and plenty of action. Captain Jacob and Jerry made us feel like old friends, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re thinking about booking a fishing charter, do it. We can’t recommend these guys enough and will definitely be back!

When there was a small craft advisory, Jake suggested we try again in a couple of days. Everyone was glad we listened to Capt Jake. Calmer waters make for a much more enjoyable fish outing!
