The Highlight of our Alaska Trip

    Private ½ Day Trip @ 430 AM 5 hrs on July 24, 2026 • 6 adults • 2 children

Our family had an amazing time fishing the Knik River. The scenery was absolutely spectacular, and the experience was one we’ll always remember. Addyson was thrilled to catch a salmon, which made the trip even more special. Captain did an outstanding job taking care of our family, making everyone feel comfortable, and putting us on the fish. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day on the water. Thank you for an unforgettable Alaska experience. Highly recommend!

    Got skunked…but had fun!

    Shared ½ Day Trip @ 430 AM 5 hrs on July 16, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 children

Our guide, Doug, was excellent. Super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and generally an awesome guy. The weather and scenery made the day worth it, even though we didn’t land a fish. Had a few nibbles and one on the line that got away. Based on everything I read/saw prior to booking, I’d never believe we wouldn’t catch a boatload of fish if you’d have told me that ahead of time, but here we are. No regrets!!!

Doug was fantastic! Very knowledgeable of the river and it’s inhabitants! Eagles, ducks, and the fish! Thank you Doug!

    Shared ½ day trip @ 10 AM 5 hrs on August 13, 2026 • 3 adults

What a peaceful and beautiful day! We only caught one fish but the trip was worth every moment! Catching fish would’ve been a plus but who knows when you’re going to catch fish! Our guide Doug is the greatest ever! The overall experience was phenomenal! Thanks again Doug!

    A Blast with Jeremy

    Shared ½ day trip @ 10 AM 5 hrs on June 16, 2026 • 2 adults

Our guide Jeremy was awesome, with knowledge of the river, and use of bait. The views are incredible, we even saw a bald eagle and seagull fight! Even though we didn’t catch any fish, we still had a great time with wonderful people.

Rain did not spoil a great trip.

    Shared ½ day trip @ 10 AM 5 hrs on June 29, 2026 • 2 adults

Terry was great and got the boat on some fish. It rained hard more than it didnt during the trip, but that did not spoil the fun, the beauty or experience. I would call these folks again!

Awesome captain for family with kids

    Shared ½ day trip @ 10 AM 5 hrs on August 17, 2025 • 2 adults • 1 child

I took my six year old son on the knik river salmon fishing and we had a great time. Not only we caught a fish, we had a good time on the boat chatting with the captain, playing with the first mate(captain’s dog Stormy) and spotting wild animals- we saw a bald eagle up close at a fishing spot for quite some time. Jeremy was so great with my son and he even let my son help him with the anchoring and drive the boat on our way back. He is kind and patient all the time. I would highly recommend him to anyone who’d like to try salmon fishing in this area.

    Great trip, great experience.

Trip for Kevin on June 15, 2025 • 6 adults

Great experience. I initially booked the wrong date by accident. They worked with me and got everything set up with no extra cost. Our captain, Doug, was very helpful. He gave great instructions when we hooked up to make sure we could land our fish. One of our group had only fished once in her life and netted a nice King Salmon. Catching a fish is never guaranteed but we all put a big one in the boat. Great company and a great captain. Will definitely go out again when we return next year.

    Amazing time

    Shared ½ day trip @ 10 AM 5 hrs on July 27, 2025 • 4 adults

Fun, kind, knowledgeable captain, and a great boat and fishing equipment. We had so much fun! Half of the family caught fish, but half just enjoying the fishing experience. It was wonderful weather.

Fun day out on the water!
Shared ½ day trip @ 10 AM 5 hrs on July 10, 2026 • 2 adults

Even though we didn't catch any fish, other people on the boat did (Including a massive King Salmon!!), which is awesome since we were fishing towards the tailend of the season, our guide was friendly and had some fun stories to share with us. Overall I would go out again when the salmon were running a little earlier.
