SALMON
Fishing the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean for salmon is an experience like no other. The Columbia River is home to some of the largest salmon runs in the world. The Pacific Ocean also offers a unique opportunity to catch Salmon, with its vast expanse and diverse marine life. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, fishing for Salmon in these waters is sure to be an unforgettable adventure.
August - September
STURGEON
One of the largest freshwater fish on the map, is sure to impress any angler with their extremely hard pulling and their tendency to fly out of the water when hooked. These dinosaurs can grow to be quite large, with some species lengths of up to 18 feet and weights of over 1,500 pounds. They are also known for living over 100 years.
May - July
DUNGENESS CRAB
Catching Dungeness crab is an incredibly fun and exciting activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The thrill of pulling up a trap full of these delicious crab is hard to beat.
September - December
All the fishing gear will be provided by your guide. All you need to do is get a fishing license, which can be done online.
Depending on the season, you'll be targeting Chinook and Coho Salmon, Dungeness Crab, and Sturgeon. All trips are seasonal and tide dependant, so your guide will give you all the details beforehand.
The boat can accommodate up to 6 people fishing.

He was superb from start to finish — extremely knowledgeable, patient, and fantastic with my 9‑year‑old. We landed 18 sturgeon, most of them over 5 feet, which is just unbelievable fishing. The boat was perfect for kids, with tall gunwales that made my son feel safe and comfortable the entire time. You can tell Captain Hunter truly loves what he does — he worked hard to keep us on fish and made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and memorable. This is an amazing fishery, and Captain Hunter made it even better. We’ll absolutely remember this trip for the rest of our lives.

We headed out at 7:00 AM this July, and the experience was just magical—we were hooking into multiple salmon within the first two hours! Hunter is so knowledgeable, fun to be around, and really knows the water. It was the perfect start to the day. Whether you’re a total pro or just looking to enjoy some time in nature, I can’t recommend him enough. Such a fantastic trip—we’ll definitely be back! 🎣✨

Half Day Trip – Dungeness Crab on September 12, 2026 • 5 adultsHunter took us crabbin’ and salmon fishing - we only caught a few salmon but the crabs were plentiful! He would be a great captain for anyone from newbies to seasoned fishermen, and was super nice and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond, bringing his crab boiler to the marina and cooking our fresh catch! He cleaned all the crab and the salmon for us. He even let us borrow a cooler to take it home with us - don’t forget a cooler for after!!! I can’t give higher praise to Hunter. Highly recommend.

I know it doesn’t sound like much, but when the fish weight in at 100-300 pounds, and fight like a tank. You are happy for a breather. Hunter had everything on hand when I broke a rod he had a backup. He also provided ice, water, and sunscreen. We didn't need anything because we were prepared, but just having there was a bonus. He also took time for us to look at a whale we spotted he got us to within a safe distance for us and the whale.

Buoy 10 Salmon Fishing Half Day on August 5, 2026 • 3 adultsHunter was well prepared to do everything he could to get us some salmon. We each caught a nice size salmon and our last one of the morning was a monster. Hunter was quick to respond and communicated with me every step of the way from first booking the trip to getting us on the boat and out on the water for our early departure. He gladly cleaned and filleted and portioned our fish so we could get it on ice and home. We highly recommend Hunter and this half day fishing trip.

Buoy 10 Salmon Fishing on August 7, 2026 • 2 adultsOverall a great experience. We got our limit on chinook. The bite was good in the morning then slowed midday. Due to hunter's local experience and knowledge of the river and tides we moved towards the jetty later in the day and caught our last two fish. we all had a great time. Hunter was engaging and worked hard all day to get us those last two fish. i will rebook with him.

Our group limited out by 11am and not only did Hunter run around with his hair on fire making sure everyone’s gear was set up, he was patient with rookie mistakes and was personable to the point that we all just felt like we wete fishing with a buddy with a boat. Great times, we’ll be back.

If we ha mretalent we would have limited out by 11am. Nice assortment of Coho and Chinook, and we had to let some go because native was out of season. great time had by all, would highly recommend!

Although the weather was trying its best to not cooperate with us, we still had our rods bent during the entire day. We caught a dozen sturgeon, none of which were under four feet in length. I would highly recommend him.
