Pelican Adventures Party/Walk-On Fishing Trip
Pelican Adventures’ 70-foot walk-around party boat offers an affordable way to enjoy a fishing trip in Destin without booking a full private charter. With room for up to 65 passengers, the party boat helps keep the cost per person lower while still giving guests a fun day out on the water.
On board, you’ll find a spacious sun deck, an air-conditioned salon, and restrooms for added comfort during the trip. If you prefer a smaller group or a more personalized fishing experience, Pelican Adventures also offers shared and private fishing trips.
The party boat is also a great option for group events, including corporate outings, holiday celebrations, weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and other special gatherings.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Glass containers are not allowed, and coolers are limited to approximately six-pack size due to limited space on board.
Children must be at least 6 years old to participate.
Departure times vary by season. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time for check-in.
Reservations must be paid in full to be confirmed.

It was about 1.5 hours out to the fish, but there was plenty to watch to keep the attention of the younger ones on the ride. Once it was time to fish, the crew did an awesome job to move a few members of our group to the back of the boat so we could all fish near one another. We bounced between a few different spots, catching 3 or 4 different species of fish, and the crew was always quick to help with tangles and taking fish off the hook. Our group had one of the fullest coolers on the boat with 14 keepers and about a dozen more we had to throw back because they were too small or out of season. We did have one person get a little seasick and he appreciated having the A/C in the cabin to get more comfortable. I’d definitely recommend this trip to any young families or groups looking for their first exposure to fishing on the ocean.

The crew and the captain were all very personable, professional, and passionate about what they do! The captain did an amazing job keeping us on the fish, and the deck hands did great at helping, identifying, measuring everything we caught! We caught fish at every hole, and had a cooler full of keeps by the end of the trip! The boat itself was great with plenty of outside seating, inside seating with tvs, 2 bathrooms, and an upper sundeck for sightseeing! We also saw numerous dolphins, which was a plus! I would recommend this trip to anyone and I can’t wait to book another trip with Pelican Adventures fishing Charters!

All the crew were eager to help and happy to answer questions. Dennis was on top of everything and the younger guy kept right up with him. They had a new deckhand who although they said was green he to helped everyone make the day run smooth. Not only do I recommend, I can say with certainty I'll be back as well!!!

Had a great time, caught a decent amount of fish, some trigger fish, rose lips, and the mingos we were all after. The guys on the ship were extremely helpful with getting tangles free, teaching us how to fish for the best fish, and keeping the boat very clean. And shout out to the captain for taking us to the best fishing spots! Had a great first time, would go back again!

there were 40 people on he boat for our trip. the 3 mates were great, and were super fast cleaning the fish after. definitely worth the price of admission.
