After tropical storm, Arthur moved out the night before and left behind dirty waters and windy conditions, we were just hoping that we could still make it out. knowing the conditions would be challenging, Captain Scott assured us that he was confident that he could still get us on some fish but would have to work for them. The trip was even more than we could have expected with the conditions. We caught 5 really nice speckled trout and a nice red fish. We also caught several other speckled trout, red fish, and a flounder just below minimum size limit. The kids even enjoyed catching several lady fish. I would highly recommend Captain Scott and could only imagine what we could have caught in better conditions. On a side note, he was very good with small kids and showed a lot of patience working with them. Everyone caught fish

First things first i just have to say communication leading up to the day was awesome. then the morning of WOW!!! could not have asked for a better trip the water was amazing we caught our snapper limit and then Capt Scott took us to get some Mackerel. Capt Scott was truly amazing very knowledgeable and just a really down to earth great guy my wife and me and our 3 sons had a great time Capt. Scott was very patient with my boys especially my 10 year old that asks a million questions LOL 😆 . honestly i could go on for awhile but wrapping it up Capt Scott deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Definitely best fishing trip ever. Thank You Capt. Scott

We had a blast with Capt Scott. Nice boat, plenty of gear to equip everyone. This trip was myself and my three boys (15, 13, 11). He put us in a great spot to have a ton of action. At one point, all four rods had fish on them at the same time! We had mackarel, red snapper, blue fish, white trout, drum, toadfish, and…. a nurse shark and a bull shark!! We will be talking about this trip for a while! And look forward to going again.
mr. Scot was one of the most professional guides, most knowledgeable guides about the area and the waters we were fishing in. He was very friendly very understanding and most of all was real easy to work with so much so that I actually scheduled one trip with him and then his customers canceled the following morning so I was able to get a second trip in. We are from Texas and came to Alabamafor vacation. I highly recommend.

Knowledgeable Captain Scott. He knows his waters. No wasted time. Moves quickly if not getting bites. Personable and patient. Too windy for the gulf. Focused on the bay. Spotted sea trout, Spanish mackerel, sand mullet, Ladyfish, and blue runner caught. Expert fish cleaning. No Bones. We fed a family of 6 for 3 nights on a 4 hour trip. We hope to see him again. Perfect for the experienced or novice.

Scott was awesome! We caught fish all day! We started the day catching flounder and keeper red fish. Then caught 30 plus spanish mackerel. We ended the day catch giant bull reds! Could not be happier with our trip!

My daughter, grandson and I have a GREAT time with Captain Scott. He took us out to his favorite gas rig and we reeled in quite a few fish. Mostly Redfish and Spanish Mackerel to keep. But we also pulled in some Speckled Trout, Pin Fish, Pig Fish, Spadefish, Mangrove Snapper. You couldn’t wipe the smile off my grandson’s face for days. Highly recommend!
The four of us limited out on the speckled trout with 24 and cought probably another 12 that went back. Spanish mackerel, 2 sharks, jack crevelle, redfish and spades. we must have caught at least 50 fish. Scott was and after some rough water and moving around turned out to a very memorable and excellent trip. We highly recommend Scott for your trip.

I was really looking forward to checking this off my bucket list and this blew my expectations out of the water! The captian was amazing and helped out alot with baiting and holding the rods so that our kids could catch the fish! Very informative and answered every question we could think of (which is alot from my 12yo). Amazing time and would absolutely do it again.

This was the 2nd yr I went out with him. This yr it was me and my son and 3 of his friends(3 of them 11 yrs ild and a 16 yr old). It was a little windy trying to fish 5 people out of his boat so i tried to fish and help him keep the kids from getting tangled and bait on there line. we stayed in the bay and we all caught fish and had a blast. I will be booking with him again next year. Great guy, moved us around to try and catch more. Fish werent biting alot. But overall great experience.
Great day if fishing. Started off by going to oil rig just offshore. Caught 11 Spanish Mackrel, 2 Lady Fish, and 3 Red Snapper. Pushed to another oil rig and didn’t have any luck so we headed to shore. He put us onto a huge Bull Red. As soon as we landed the red a group of tarpons rolled through and he got us hooked up on a huge tarpon. Tail ended up breaking the line but it was great. Scott knows his stuff and knows the area. Great day on the water and would definitely recommend chartering with him!

We (Me, my Son and Daughter-in-law, and their 10 year old son) had a great time with Captain Scott. He put us on fish and it was pretty much non-stop action for 4 hours. We caught probably 60 or more fish in total and kept 29 Spanish Mackerals and 1 Speckled Trout, which Captain Scott cleaned and fileted for us. The throwbacks included 5 sharks, a mangrove snapper, a pinfish, and numerous lady fish, spade fish, catfish, and crockers. Definitely a fun day on the water. Captain Scott worked hard keeping our lines baited and netting our fish. We would highly recommend him if you are planning a fishing trip.
I had an outstanding experience fishing with Whistlin Waters, and our captain, Scott Kennedy, was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we got on the water, Scott was professional, knowledgeable, and determined to make sure we had a great trip. We ended up catching 16 speckled trout and 2 Spanish mackerels, and Scott worked hard to put us on the fish. Even when the bite was slow, he didn’t give up or lose focus. He continued trying different spots and techniques until we started catching fish. Scott was also extremely attentive throughout the entire trip. He made sure our hooks were consistently baited, helped us whenever we needed it, and was right there to assist with landing the fish we reeled in. His knowledge of the area and willingness to put in the extra effort really made the difference. You can tell Scott genuinely cares about his customers having a successful and enjoyable day on the water. Whether you’re an experienced angler or someone who doesn’t fish often, I would highly recommend booking a trip with him. 10/10 experience! We had a great time, caught plenty of fish, and couldn’t have asked for a better captain. We will definitely be booking with Scott and Whistlin Waters again!
