Spend the day with Fish Taxi and get hooked on light tackle fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and remote islands.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Rockfish, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and anything else that bites. You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks!
You'll be casting lines from a 27' Judge center console with space for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

2 hr trip on June 24, 2026 • 2 adults • 1 childCaptain Joe was awesome! He went above and beyond to find the right places for my son and I to have a memorable experience. We are beginners and were able to catch some Striped Bass and Blue fish. Highly recommended!!

2 hr trip on July 14, 2026 • 4 adultsWe had a great trip with Captain Joe. Caught 4 nice rockfish...one had to go back as it was to large to keep and several got away from us. Rockfish for sinner tonight.

2 hr trip on August 6, 2026 • 5 adults • 2 childrenExcellent captain! :) He stayed out an extra hour to see if we could get some keepers. Caught about 8 nice rockfish, but out of season... :( He taught the boys (a 6 & 9 yr. old) about the boat and answered hundreds of questions from them. Even let them steer the boat. I would recommend Captain Joe for any fishing charter.

Great Trip
Full Day Trip on August 2, 2025 • 5 adultsCaptain Joey is a first class guy! We had a great time and caught a good amount of fish on our 8 hour trip. Captain Joey worked hard for us constantly moving to a new spot when the fish stopped biting at the current spot. Everyone in our party had a lot of fun. I would book with him again.

2 hr trip on October 11, 2025 • 4 adults • 1 childCaught our limit within an hour. This was a great trip and I will book again. This isn't a sit in a comfy seat and have the First Mate cast your line and then give it to you to reel in, this is a bit of an education on what to use where to go and how to catch the big ones.

2 hr trip on July 16, 2026 • 2 adultsCaptain Joe was excellent. He is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and courteous. He took us to over a dozen locations in an attempt to find and catch fish. Unfortunately, the fish were not cooperating, and the only nibble we got was a huge sting ray that Capt. Joe caught.
