Depending on the season, you might hook into Yellowtail Amberjack, Bonito, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Pacific Barracuda, and who knows what else! You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep their stamina going!
Your boat for the day is a 36' Thermodyne sportfishing vessel. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
