Marrajo Fishing Charter
At Marrajo, you won't be on a boat full of unknown anglers. You'll have a private boat just for you, your friends, or family. This allows us to easily adapt to each client's requests, such as changing fishing styles if we notice low activity for that day.
We are the only charter in Gran Canaria truly specialized in bottom fishing, jigging, light jigging, live bait fishing, or squid fishing. We are backed by major international fishing brands, keeping us up to date with all the latest trends. We frequently have exclusive gear that hasn't even hit the market yet and is still in prototype or testing phases, including rods, reels, lures, and accessories.
We depart from Pasito Blanco harbor. Depending on the fishing style chosen for the day, we head directly to our fishing spots for modalities like jigging or bait fishing. For live bait fishing, we first catch our own bait (sardines, mackerel, or even squid or cuttlefish in winter) and then select our fishing area based on weather conditions and the timing of the trip.
At Marrajo Fishing, our main goal—besides helping you catch your trophy fish—is to make sure you feel informed, accompanied, and guided at all times by the captain, who will stay by your side to provide the best professional tips for local fishing.

Deep sea fishing on June 24, 2026 • 2 adultsGreat trip with Valter who was knowledgable, patient, and super friendly for our five hour deep sea trip. The first two-ish hours were quiet, then my son pulled in a skipjack tuna followed shortly thereafter by a large wahoo. Valter let us continue to troll on our way back to the marina and we caught a second wahoo! It was a memorable and wonderful trip. We kept enough of our catch to make tuna ceviche and blacked wahoo tacos for dinner for our extended family too!

First of all we had to catch some baitfish, this could take some time daid, Valter. Well, in about 5 minites we had lots, all hooks full on almast every drop. On the way to bottom fisching area we encountered schools of skipjack tuna in a feeding frenzy. So a change of mind an started trolling. Several hookups, and landed two big skipjacks. One of them had an encounter with an wahoo on the way inand arrived as sushi slices on board. There after we did some bottem fishing, This was a litle bit deeper than the dutch's seas, so it was a good work out. The sea was a bit choppy, which made fishing challenging. For fishing maniacs: 8h extreme fun on March 29, 2026 • 2 adultsOn out 8hr fishing trip unfortunately the big fish were just not biting but our skipper Marrajo was trying his very best to find them and covered many miles of fishig ground for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and we throughly enjoyed our day. Highly recommended by us hopefully next time we will see some tight lines. 5-hour fishing trip on January 31, 2026 • 3 adultsWe had a great fishing trip. We had great weather and fishing conditons. the skipper was very knowledgeable of the area. We managed to catch a good number of bait fish to use as live bait. We then proceeded to the fishing grounds and Walter was spot on. We caught 7 large red snapppers and a super sized one! Great day and well worth every euro spent! Highly recommend this fishing team.

Three of us, so three rods , but the captain said he could not lookafter the boat and all three of us. so only two were fishing at any time - we still had a great time, but I haven't paid for three rods on a beginners fishing trip I would expected expected for us I would expected that's all to fish at the same time. - either put an extra staff on or Dont advertise it as a beginners course for more than two.

An unforgettable fishing trip – highly recommended! We had an absolutely amazing five-hour fishing trip with Valter! We started by catching live bait, and thanks to Valter’s experience, we quickly filled the tank. Then we headed out for some bottom fishing, where both my 11-year-old son and I caught beautiful red snappers weighing around 2 kg each. After that, we decided to try some trolling. My dream was to catch a mahi-mahi, while my son was hoping for a wahoo. Just 15–20 minutes later, one of the rods suddenly went crazy! After an intense eight-minute fight, we landed an incredible wahoo, estimated at around 180 cm and 35–40 kg! It was without a doubt one of the wildest fishing experiences we’ve ever had! A huge thank you to Valter for an unforgettable day, his great knowledge, and his incredible ability to find the fish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hoy hemos tenido un fantástico día de pesca con Walter. Hemos tenido varias picadas de bonitos y 2 de petos, pero solo hemos conseguido sacar 1 bonito. Walter ha intentado todo el rato llevarnos a zonas para poder pescar. Es un gran profesional y da gusto estar con él en el mar. Repetiría sin duda!

El viaje estuvo tranquilo, picaron un par de piezas que no pudimos llegar a ver qué eran porque se desengancharon. Cuando ya dábamos todo por perdido y casi al final del viaje, pico un peto enorme, de unos 20Kg según nos dijo el capitán. Nos costó lo suyo sacarlo pero tras varios minutos de lucha intensa finalmente pudimos subirlo a la embarcación :)
