Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
You may bring your own fishing poles, but that is not needed as our guide provides All Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

4 Hour Trip – Guided Fishing trip - 9:00 AM on August 13, 2026 • 3 adults • 2 childrenIf you like nice, patient, knowledgeable dudes who lead you right to the fish…Well, Elias might be your guy. we caught something like 15 small fish in the first hour. and, frankly, for novices like me and my two kids (ages 14 and 12) that probably would have been fine…but then he gave my oldest enough encouragement and guidance to land two 2.25 lb bass. Amazing. I think he made my son a fisherman…highly recommend!

Full day on June 16, 2026 • 1 adultThe Captain, Elias, was very knowledgeable of local fishing and provided me with a great fishing experience that I'll remember. He was very helpful with keeping the rigs and lines charged and ready to go, trying various lures and also had live bait which worked very well and he moved around enough to where we got to fish most parts of the lake. We caught four nice 2-3 pound bass, several smaller bass, 2 white perch, and a small pickerel. I'd recommend Elias to anyone looking for an affordable day of half day experience.
