These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Dhufish, Peacock Bass, Coral Trout, Dentex, African Pompano Jack, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Ahmed can also have you Flounder gigging.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Talk about bang for your buck!
SunGhada Boat Tour welcomes kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You'll be dropping lines from a 65' Motor yacht with space for 10 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.

Full day trip on January 19, 2026 • 3 adultsWe had an absolutely unforgettable experience with the Sunghada Boat Trip today (19 January 2026 - full day. 8 hours). We booked it mainly for fishing, but what made this trip truly special were all the unexpected extras that made us feel genuinely cared for and happy. Captain Ahmed surprised us by taking us beyond the original plan, showing us beautiful sandbanks and a small island where we could snorkel. Everything felt like a bonus, thoughtfully added just to make our day more memorable. It was perfect for us as a married couple traveling with our 18-year-old daughter. Lunch and snacks were freshly prepared with lots of fruits (and extra bought sweets dor our daughter). From the very beginning, the service was outstanding. We were picked up from our hotel early in the morning by Safi, Ahmed’s brother, who went above and beyond by bringing coffees for us and sweets for our daughter. he even stopped at the local cafe shop to buy us coffees and juices. it was an extremely beyond service touch - and we were happy to get these offered at 07:00 am in the morning! That simple but incredibly kind gesture already set the tone for the whole day. The private boat charter made us feel truly special. The boat itself was large, around 67 feet long, very comfortable and felt extremely safe. Lunch and snacks on board were absolutely incredible, far exceeding our expectations. And of course, we got to keep all the fish we caught, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic fishing experience. This trip was not just an excursion, but a warm, personal experience with amazing people who clearly love what they do. We highly recommend the Sunghada Boat Trip to anyone looking for something special, memorable, and full of genuine hospitality. Truly an amazing day from start to finish. Iwona, Andrzej and Ava
