Maine Wilderness Ice Fishing
If you plan on fishing in Ellsworth, look no further than Maine Wilderness Fishing. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Joseph can tell you all about them.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Atlantic Salmon, Perch, Northern Pike, Crappie, and plenty more. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Joseph welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day!
Your captain will provide traps, rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is also included.
Before coming, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. Children under 16 do not need a license. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Maine Wilderness Fishing is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
