Depending on conditions, you might hook into Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Cubera Snapper, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Amberjack, Skipjack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, Yellowtail Snapper, Sheepshead, Blackfin Tuna, and whatever else takes the bait. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll find yourself aboard a 29' C-Hawk with space for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Brice has rods and reels for you, as well as lures and live bait.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and any snacks or drinks you’d like during your trip. There is plenty of cooler space and dry storage aboard the WY Knot II.

6 Hour Trip on May 15, 2026Our trip with Brice was exceptionally memorable and one we look forward to doing again. Brice communicated clearly the location of all safety and emergency equipment and made sure we felt comfortable before venturing out. While fishing, he was extremely knowledgeable on the different locations and educated us on the types of fish, the reef layouts, shipwrecks, etc.. If we missed a fish or broke off he never raised his voice and was extremely patient. We can’t recommend Brice enough, looking forward to our next trip.
