Book your next trip with Sabor Fishing Guide and find out what the fishing in Sabor Lake and Douro River is all about.
Local species include Largemouth Bass, Pike Perch (Zander), Northern Pike, and more with any luck. For these species, you're likely to troll.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
You'll find yourself aboard a 20' Nitro bass boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It has a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Jose will provide rods and reels for you.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.
